The first generation of statistical analysis has some limitations in terms of the current complexity measurement model. Recently, many researchers have increasingly been turning to second- generation techniques or referred to as Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). SEM can be viewed as a combination of factor analysis and regres- sion i.e. path analysis. Specifically, Partial Least Squares (PLS – SEM) is one of the approaches to estimate the relationships in a SEM model. PLS – SEM is primarily used to develop theories in exploratory research. It does focusing on explaining the variance in the depen- dent variables when examining the model. The understanding in using this technique is important to enable researchers to pursue research opportunities in new and different ways. Synopsis The main objective of this Introductory Course is to increase the level of basic understanding and how to apply the PLS – SEM technique into our research analysis.
