Precision paints the town You know Precision Painting & Waterproofing as the residential painting division of Croom Construction Company. But lately Precision is branching out with additional commercial work. With contracts in progress or just completed for three large multi-family communities, Precision couldn’t be busier. Exterior painting is ongoing at Harbor Isles, a 26-building condo community on south Hutchinson Island. Work also progresses at Southwinds, a 15-unit condo building within The Moorings. And recently completed is The Fountains, oceanfront on A1A. This project consisted of 10 villas, two condo buildings, pool house and other structures.

“We’ve been very happy with our decision to hire Precision. They are professional in every way,” said John Lovkey, President, The Fountains Condominium Association.

Precision has been successful in bidding these projects against larger painting contractors from the Miami market. Not only is it a testament to the quality and value for money Precision delivers, but it also is an economic stimulus for our local economy.

If your clothes are taking too long to dry, it’s time to get your dryer vent and exhaust duct cleaned. Frequency of cleaning depends on your dryer usage; at least once a year is a good rule of thumb. Whitehall cleans dryer vents as a regular maintenance item.

Staff news Joe Kirby, Croom’s VP, Estimating & Purchasing, has been certified under the Environmental Protection Agency’s Lead-Safe Certification Program. This qualification helps him accurately estimate and supervise the cost of lead paint removal.

Rick Tritt, Environmental Health & Air Quality Division Manager, Whitehall Professional Property Management, has been licensed as a Mold Assessor by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation.

Dancing with Vero’s Stars: David Croom Steps Out for Charity

Despite a foot injury incurred during practice, our President,

David Croom, decided the show must go on. On March 12th, he

took to the stage of the Waxlax Theatre at St. Edwards School to

perform the foxtrot with professional partner, Patti Rooney. While

David didn’t go home with the coveted grand prize (that honor

went to local attorney Bobby Guttridge and partner Karren Walter),

funds were raised to benefit the Healthy Start Coalition.
