Introduction • Compact size while providing acceptable: 1- VSWR 2- Bandwidth 3- Gain 4- Efficiency• Omni-directional pattern• To be suitable for on chip design, with easy impedance matching• Light weight• Low cost Therefore, the UWB antenna design remains to be the major face in

the progress of UWB technology

Conclusions

Ultimate radiation pattern for wireless device

Fulfilled the required bandwidth for lower band

Small antenna on FR4 substrate, which is suitable for lower . frequency band of UWB system, 3.1-5.1( GHz)

Average gain of 1(dBi) was shown to be achievable over the the frequency range

Easy to design and cheap
