I am extremely glad to give this foreword for the Placement Brochure 2015-16 for all our Management Tra inees . The ro le o f Management Education in the present times has become unique in view of new challenges facing the enterprises and the economy. The need is for Transformational Leadership and for Innovative-Integrative Corporate Entrepreneurial mindset. J.D.C. Bytco IMSR is the pioneering MBA center in India with a track record of 4000 young holistic management graduates contributing for building new India, enriching and contributing for better world. Gokhale Education Society was established in 1918 by the great social worker and educationist Late Principal T. A. Kulkarni. This Society strives for the establishment of the Quality Educational Institute since its inception. Sir. Dr. M.S.Gosavi, who holds the distinction of being the youngest Principal of a fullfl edged college, has been the secretary of the Society since 1973.
Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi, a visionary educationist founded J.D.C. Bytco Institute of Management Studies and Research, a pioneer Institute in Management Education in the state of Maharashtra affi liated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University in the year 1968.
Set amidst the lush green environment and spread over the 45 acres campus, the Institute has been contributing to the Indian Industries for the last 47 years. It has witnessed transition from the days of the protected economy to today's free market economy.

Gokhale Education Society is a Society managed by teachers. The JDC Bytco Institute of Management Studies and Research set up in the year 1968 is a proud member of the Society. I t gives me pleasure to present before our esteemed recruiters a fresh batch of our enthusiastic MBA students who are yearning to create a place for themselves in the industry.
The MBA class of 2015-16 has undergone curriculum training with additional inputs in the form of guest lectures, seminars and industrial internship. The faculty has made efforts to train the students on other skills such as team work, presentations and creative thinking. LibrarySet in premises of 101.6 Sq/mts,
with 23360 books, 12 periodicals, 15 dailies, management videos and CD-ROMs covering a whole spectrum of management topics, with a constant stream of information trickling in through periodicals, journals, a data bank set up by the students of the Institute, annual reports of various companies, E-journals, J-Gate, EBSCO etc. all go a long way in ensuring that as far as management awareness is concerned, not a drop is
spared.
The Computer CenterWith the advent of the E-Business
era, it is simply not feasible to visualise an effective manager, without the knowledge of operating and exploiting, the funct ional i ty of Information Technology. With this vision in mind our Institute has made available to the students a computer lab with 60
terminals which are on a dedicated Local Area Network (LAN). All of these operate on a Windows Platform, stimulating the look and feel of the information resources available in corporate India. Other platforms like LINUX have also been made available to the students to gear them up for all information environments. Software’s like the MS Offi ce, Oracle 9, Tally 7.2, C, C++, Java, VB and Developer 2000 are used extensively to complete the training experience.
Internet FacilityJDC Bytco I.M.S.R. is one of the
fi rst institutions in Nashik, to have a broadband and leased account. This not only enables the students to have online access to the latest management concepts, but also to the case studies of reputed universities like Harvard and Stanford.

Seminar HallAs seminars are essential embodiments of the MBA curriculum, the institute
has taken adequate steps to meet the requirements by housing impressive seminar hall, each having a capacity of 250 delegates. The hall is well equipped with modern audio visual aids.
Placement CellIn order to ensure that the campus
interviews are conducted in a suitable envi ronment, the inst i tu te has paid special attention to develop a recruitment block, which caters to the need of the recruiters. The recruitment block has one GD room and two Interview rooms, which provide the ambience of modern conferencing.

SEMINAR ON “SUPPLY CHAIN DYNAMICS WITH A FOCUS ON E- COMMERCE STRATEGIES”.
A seminar on E commerce strategies was organized on 4th September 2015. Sales & Distribution expert Mr. Rajeev Deshpande shared knowledge on the topic “Supply Chain Dynamics with a focus on E- Commerce strategies”. He said that understanding transportation as a science is the key to become a successful businessman. Using examples of HUL and Asian paints, he highlighted the SCM concepts such as ‘Last mile cost’, Milk run, FTL, Transport portfolios etc. Mr. Deshpande emphasized the signifi cance of developing Commercial acumen in the fresh MBAs as they hardly understand money whereas the outside world talks only the language of money. The area of “Relative cost & Decision making” is the strength of any business and students should work on their decision making skills. He guided students in terms of various career opportunities available for fresh MBA graduates in sales, marketing and logistics.
