SIFHAMS Internaonal Graduate Winter School (2020) Scienfic Tradion in Islamic Civilizaon University of Sharjah Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, 12 - 24 January 2020 Background Sharjah Internaonal Foundaon for the History of Arab and Muslim Sciences (SIFHAMS) in collaboraon with Islamic Science Instute (ISI), Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM) and I Instute of Physics (IP), University of Cologne, invites parcipants to a yearly graduate winter school. It organizes intensive graduate course study and training at MA and PhD levels on the contribuons of Muslims to the science throughout the history of Islamic civilizaon. This is the first winter school co-organized by SIFHAMS, ISI and IP, where the school comprise of a -10 day intensive interdisciplinary courses on the history of science and technology in Islamic civilizaon. It is involved with academic acvies like training, research methodology and experimental history of sciences. Lectures are conducted by experts in the field locally and internaonally.
