The Shumen plateau is the highest of the plateaus in the Danube plain. The elements have created bizarre and fantastic rock phenomena and underground Karst forms.

A solid sculpture composition, recreating major moments from the foundation and development of the First Bulgarian Kingdom.

The biggest monument on the Balkan Peninsula, located in the south-eastern part of the Shumen plateau was erected in honor of 1300th anniversary since the foundation of the Bulgarian State.
