› Bio film grows protected within engineered plastic carrierscarriers

› Media is 1% plastic & 99% Engineering

› Media life is long- 10-15 years, no media replacement required for 10-15 years

› High loading conditions can be tackled without any problems of clogging, No new construction required

SEQUENTIAL BATCH REACTOR (SBR) Salient Features of SBR Technology

› SBR is a cyclic ASP

› Provides highest treatment efficiency possible in a single step biological process with BOD < 10 mg/l & SS < 10 mg/l

› Operated in a batch reactor, eliminates drawbacks of continuous processes

› A batch reactor is a perfect reactor ensuring 100% treatment

› Modular forms ensures continuous treatment

› Complete process occurs in a single reactor, (all biological treatment steps sequential)

› Eliminates secondary clarifier need
