Summary The Manhattan Beach real estate market was quite active in September posting a 26.7% increase in total sales, a 6.4% bump in

the market median sales price, and a 29.5% improvement in the sales/listing ratio. Moving in the opposite direction were total

listings and the market median days to sell, which dropped 2.1% and increased 51.5% respectively speaking. A year-over-year

analysis, however, clearly shows this highly coveted beach community remains in high demand with the market median sales

price up by more than $360K and total sales exceeding 40%.

In the news… According to C.A.R., “Statewide sales were above the 400,000 mark for the sixth straight month” with the median

home price increasing “4.3 percent from September 2014.”
