MINOSHIMA MARKET STREETMinoshima was once a bustling shopping area known as the Kitchen of Hakata. Today, over 50 mostly family-run shops with the nostalgic look of the Showa era remain (1920s to ‘80s). Made on the spot, you can’t find tofu any fresher than Ide Tofu’s, and a bottle of his healthy, refreshing soy milk is ¥130. Nearby, Tempura Egami Shokuhin offers still-sizzling tempura; their popular potato croquettes are just ¥43 each! 美野島商店街依然保留濃厚昭和時代色彩的美野島商店街。直到今日，約 50 家以家族經營為主的懷舊感風情商店還在這裡服務著。每日早晨手工製作豆腐的井出商店堅持古老的製程，使的慕名而來的人們願意專程來到美野島；從昭和 32 年以來沒有改變過味道以及價格（1 個¥43 ！）的江上食品的可樂餅是商店街另一項名產。旅客們可以在科斯特旅館一樓的咖啡廳享受商店街的懷舊氣氛，當然，住宿一晚也是很好的選擇。

梅之間咖啡廳挑高的空間搭上東方的氛圍而釀出優雅，在提供來自知名高級茶産地 - 福岡縣八女的茶與原創和菓子的梅之間咖啡廳。連霸 12 年日本第一的玉露茶（¥700），或是三種味道不同的抹茶，配著薄寒天包裹的豆沙湯圓

（¥350）也很棒。此外，日式甜食的定番餡蜜（¥800），是由水果和蒟蒻、豆類、白湯圓、豆沙、冰淇淋做成的人氣首選。也提供刨冰類的季節性甜品，與用蔬菜做成的冰淇淋喔！

미노시마 상점가도심에서 가까우면서도 옛 분위기를 그대로 간직하고 있는 미노시마 상점가. 생선 가게, 채소 가게 등 약 50개 점포가 입점 중. 이데 상점에서는 옛 방식 그대로 매일 이른 아침부터 두부를 직접 만든다. 이 두부와 두유를 사기 위해 미노시마를 찾는 사람이 있을 정도. 변함없는 맛과 거의 변함없는 가격(1개 43엔)의 에가미 식품 고로케는 모두가 인정하는 미노시마 상점가의 명물. 따끈따끈할 때 바로 먹도록 하자. 숙박 가능한 게스트 하우스 코스텔 미노시마 1층에는 카페가 있어 쉬어갈 수도 있다.

우메노마고급차의 산지로 유명한 후쿠오카현 야메산 차와 오리지널 전통 과자를 맛볼 수 있는 카페 우메노마. 높은 천장과 오리엔탈 인테리어가 인상적이다. 12년 연속 일본 1위의 자리를 지켜온 교쿠로(700엔)와 3종류의 말차는 팥소를 얇은 한천으로 감싼 안코다마(350엔) 등의 디저트와 찰떡궁합. 안미츠(800엔)는 과일과 한천, 경단, 팥소, 아 이스 크림 등의 오리지널 디저트를 한 데 모아 담 아 내는 인기 메뉴이다. 그 외에도 빙수와 같은 계절 메뉴 등 엄선된 소재로 정성껏 만드는 다양한 메뉴가 준비되어 있다.

UMENOMAWith elegant high ceilings and an Asian feel, Umenoma serves Fukuoka’s famous Yame green tea and a selection of original sweets. Try the Yame gyokuro, ranked best in Japan for 12 years running (¥700), or choose from three flavors of matcha. Either one goes great with the anko-dama, a red bean paste ball wrapped in paper-thin kanten (chewy, vegan-friendly jelly) (¥350). Another popular dessert is the anmitsu (¥800), a bowl jam-packed with fruits, kanten, mochi dumplings, anko and ice cream. IMATOMISoba, or buckwheat noodles, are light but filling, and there are many places where you can enjoy them— from standing counter bars, to udon shops, to refined specialty shops. This month we are pleased to intro-duce Imatomi—an elegant but welcoming soba restaurant run by a dedicated owner, Imatomi. Every morning, Imatomi grinds buckwheat delivered fresh from Kuma-moto and makes his noodles by hand. Cus-tomers can choose from two main types of soba: seiro, cold noodles served on bamboo screens, and kakesoba, soba in hot soup. During the lunch rush, a single bowl of soba would suffice, but you may also want to try one of the trademark side-dishes, such as duck or stewed herring. In the evening, why not enjoy a tipple of sake while you wait for your meal? Not sure what to order? Try the soba set (¥1,900) that comes with three or four appetizers and a double shot (90ml) of sake (which can be substituted with a dessert). 今富 Imatomi

清淡而富有飽足感的蕎麥，在站立式吧檯，烏龍麵店與專賣店普遍都找得到。本月介紹的蕎麥麵店“今富”，店長想要藉著蕎麥麵表現出日本熱情好客的文化。用石臼磨著從熊本縣水上村取得的蕎麥，每天早上以手打方式製成的蕎麥麵。製成蒸籠裝著的冷蕎麥麵”蒸籠 SEIRO”，或熱湯裡的 ” 蕎麥湯麵 KAKESOBA” 都美味。繁忙的午餐時間，一碗簡單的蕎麥麵就可大大滿足。也可試試特色鴨肉或煮鯡魚。在等出菜的時間不要錯過本店的日本酒。不知道要點什麼嗎？推薦附三或四道小菜、90ml 的日本酒 ( 可更換成甜點 ) 的蕎麥麵組（¥1900）。

이마토미일본식 메밀국수 소바는 다양한 장소에서 다양한 방법으로 즐길 수 있다. 서서 먹는 가게도 있는가 하면 우동 전문점에서 소바를 제 공 하 는 경 우 도 있 고 술 과 함 께 소 바 전문점에서 맛볼 수도 있다. 이달에 소개할 이마토미는 소바 전문점으로 쿠마모토현에서 생산된 메밀을 가게에서 직접 절구로 갈아 손 으 로 반 죽 해 면 을 뽑 아 낸 다 . 이 렇 게 만들어진 소바는 찜통에 담겨 나오는 냉소바 ‘세이로’와 따뜻한 국물에 적셔진 ‘카케소바’ 등의 메뉴로 즐길 수 있다. 소바 단품 외에도 간장으로 매콤달달하게 조린 청어 조림 등이 추 천 메뉴. 요리를 기다 리면서는 사 케를 음미해보자. 메뉴 선택이 힘들다면 밑반찬 3~4가지와 사케(90ml, 디저트로 변경 가능)가 나오는 소바 세트(1,900엔)를 추천한다.

하코자키구 호죠야

T his over 1000-year-old celebra-tion, one of Hakata’s big three festivals, marks the beginning of

autumn, and invites us to be thankful for life (our own and others’). The 1km path to the shrine is lined with 500 stalls; some offer fun activities, like eel fishing and haunted houses, and others hawk traditional wares, like fresh ginger - sold stem and all, ohajiki (game counters) and chanpon (glass toys painted by shrine maidens).

HOJOYA FESTIVAL已有超過千年歷史的『放生會』是博多三大祭典之一。為的是對生命的感恩以及感謝秋天的豐收。在筥崎宮舉辦的祭典，會在宮前的參道上設有鬼屋、釣鰻魚…等高達五百個攤販，而福岡各項美食也匯聚在其中。每年巫女親手彩繪的博多 Chanpon( 玻璃工藝品 )、日本傳統圓扁形彈珠、及剛採收的生薑等都是炙手可熱的名產。這裡擁有日本最經典的祭典風貌，是你千萬不能錯過的行程！

하카타의 3대 축제 중 하나인 호죠야는 모든 생명을 측은히 여기고 가을의 결실에 감사하는 하코자키구의 의식이다. 복을 불러다 준다고 하는 ‘호죠야 오하지키’는 판매 시작과 동시에 품절되기 일쑤. 유리로 만들어진 장난감인 하카타 챤폰과 노점에서 판매되는 잎이 붙어있는 생강도 호죠야의 명물. 참배길의 500개 가까이 되는 노점 등이 전형적인 일본 축제 풍경을 보여준다.

Fukuoka is the birthplace of many beloved soul foods, from ramen to motsunabe, but even die-hard locals

may not realize that our yakitori is uniquely Fukuokan. What seems normal here, like skewers of pork belly (Wait? That's not chicken!) and chopped cabbage with a vinegary sauce, are actually hallmarks of the Hakata-style. Another famous local skewer is the ever-crispy torikawa (chicken skin). These skewers use the skin of the chicken neck, one chicken per skewer, because it is thin and lean. The best place in town to get torikawa is Kawaya, which has two shops in the city. When you walk in you will see a mountain of the painstakingly crafted skewers next to the counter—proper slow-roasting takes up to six days! —but this quickly dwindles as customers order them by the dozens. The slow-roasting removes the fat while keeping the flavor in. (Spice-lovers can add crushed red pepper.) So stop by Kawaya and enjoy some torikawa with cabbage and beer, just like a true Fukuokan would!

KAWAYA豚骨拉麵、牛雜火鍋、水炊雞肉鍋…等是深受福岡人喜愛的在地美食；卻沒想過“串燒”這個日常美味，也是專屬於福岡的特色菜單。最初是以醋為底的和風醬汁加上切片的白菜當前菜，接下來以烤的順序陸續上菜。其中烤的酥脆的雞皮是福岡特有的吃法 - 食材只選雞脖子的皮，一隻雞只能做一串，以小火反覆沾醬烤出漂亮的金黃色。在福岡幾間店中，KAWAYA 串燒店的雞皮是用醬油醃製後，整齊的上架仔細烤了 6 天才完成的，入口時加上一點唐辛子更加美味。與同伴一同享受這道料理，一邊喝啤酒，配白菜，追加喜歡的串燒，就是福岡流找樂子的方法！

돈코츠 라멘, 모츠나베, 미즈타키 등 후쿠오카가 자랑하는 각종 먹거리 중에서 너무나도 당연해 후쿠오카의 명물이라는 사실을 지역 주민들조차 잊기 쉬운 메뉴가 바로 야키토리이다. 양념을 뿌린 생양배추가 먼저 나오고 그 위에 먼저 구워지는 대로 차례차례 야키토리를 올려주는 점이나 야키토리 가게이지만(‘토리’는 ‘닭’) 돼지나 소를 사용한 메뉴가 있는 점… 그리고 바삭바삭한 닭 껍질 토리카와도 실은 후쿠오카 명물이다. 얇고 부드러우며 지방이 적은 목 부분 껍질을 한 마리 분량 꼬치에 끼운 후 살짝 구운 뒤 양념에 묻혀 먹음직스러운 갈색빛을 띨 때까지 다시 구워내는 작업을 반복한다. 이 수고로운 작업이 필요한 토리카와 전문점 중 하나인 카와야의 토리카와는 6일간 천천히 구워내 양념 맛이 아주 잘 베어있다. 자리에 앉자마자 토리카와를 5~10개씩 주문하는 사람도 있을 정도. 천천히 구워내기 때문에 지방은 떨어져 나가고 안쪽은 숙성된듯한 감칠맛이 그대로 남아있다. 받자마자 우선 그대로 맛본 뒤에 취향에 따라 이치미를 뿌려 매콤하게 먹어도 좋다. 토리카와를 맛본 후에는 양배추를 안주 삼아 맥주를 마시거나 원하는 꼬치를 주문해 즐거운 시간을 보내자.

KYUSHU BEER FESTIVAL 2015One of Kyushu’s biggest craft beer festivals is back for its sixth year. Seven of the 17 craft breweries represented are based in Kyushu, with others coming from as far as Hokkaido. The buzzing entertainment district will host 75 artists over two days, including world-famous musicians like Makoto Kuriya (pianist). 中洲爵士音樂節 2015好聽的爵士音樂在中洲，特別是免費的！這個熱鬧的藝術區在兩天內有 75 組藝術家的表演，包括世界知名音樂家 Makoto Kuriya ( 鋼琴家 ) 及村上 "PONTA" 秀一。參加去年高達 10 萬人次蜂湧的爵士樂盛會，早點出門才能有最棒的體驗喔！

나카스 재즈 2015서일본 최대 환락가인 나카스 거리에서 재즈 라이브를 즐길 수 있다. 라이브를 감상한 후에는 근처 가게에서 여흥을 즐겨보는 것도. 작년에는 약 10만 명 이 재즈 라이브를 즐겼다. 올해는 75개 팀의 아티스트가 이틀 동안 나카스 일대를 재즈로 물들일 예정.

FOCUS ON ASIA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FUKUOKA 201521 countries will bring 43 new or pre-release films to Fukuoka for this festival dedicated to the Asian silver screen. Directors, actors and actresses will be flying in for Q&A and autograph sessions, plus attending a glamorous red carpet opening. Most films have Japanese and English subtitles.

聚焦亞洲福岡國際電影節 2015冠蓋雲集的福岡國際電影節 - 依慣例的選出亞洲 21 個國家或地區共43 件作品 ( 日 / 英雙語字幕 )。今年最受矚目的作品是來自印尼的“魔幻☆印尼”和日本的“幻想的南洋”；你將參與華麗的紅毯電影開幕儀式，而且放映現場開放觀眾向導演及演員提問和簽名喔。

SENTOMYOReflected on the water by the gently flickering light of about 1,000 lanterns, shrine maidens dance and perform musical acts on a specially constructed floating stage. This is the culmination of Jinkoshiki, a Shinto festival to bring peace and prosperity, and an Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Fukuoka.

千灯明

千燈明在心字池上漂浮搖曳著千盞的燈籠，互相映照出柔和的光線，神社巫女在特別搭建的水上舞台中演奏神樂舞，舉行慰勞天神的儀式。敬邀您到這兒來體會微妙而深刻的日本文化。活動當天，參道燭光無處不在，一同在搖曳光波動的迷人之美中感受遠離塵世的氛圍。

센토묘신지 연못을 둘러싼 약 천 개의 초를 밝혀 신의 영을 위로하는 의식. 수면 위에 비친 촛불 빛에 둘러싸인 수상 무대에서는 무녀가 제를 올리기 위한 무악을 선보인다. 참배로 곳곳의 아름답게 빛나는 등불 속에서 잠시 현세를 벗어난 듯한 기분에 빠져보자.

KURUME’S PREMIUM YAKITORI FESTIVALYakitori fans are about to find themselves in grilled, smoky heaven: this gathering of 14 yakitori booths and 19 sake brewer-ies draws 60,000 skewered-meat lovers from in and outside the prefecture. This is considered to be some of Japan’s best yakitori, and at only ¥100~300 a dish they sell out quick!

第 13回久留米焼きとり日本一フェスタ

第 13 屆久留米串燒節久留米市共有約 200 家串燒店！串烤店數堪稱日本第一的久留米市所舉行的串烤活動，每年多達六萬人從久留米縣內外來訪。今年有14間的串燒業者及19間的清酒廠參與，推出最為自豪的美味串燒(一串約 ¥100~300)。賣完可就沒有了，要早點來喔！

제13회 쿠루메 야키토리 페스티벌쿠루메 시내의 야키토리 가게는 약 200개에 이른다고 한다. 인구당 야키토리 가게 수가 많기로 유명한 쿠루메시에서 열리는 이 이벤트에는 매년 6만 명 이상이 방문해 성황을 이룬다고. 올해는 총 14개 가게가 출점, 야키토리는 개당 100~300엔 선.

FUKUOKA FREEDOM NIGHT MARKET On warm Saturday evenings, farmers sell vegetables and other fresh goods from the park next to Canal City. From 19:00, well-known local eateries, like Manu Coffee, take over. There’ll also be musicians, masseurs, fortune-tellers, & sometimes a balloon artist. On the 26th, women in yukata get a free Ramune Soda!

MUSIC CITY TENJIN 2015What’s the recipe for a great alternative music festival? Sprinkle ten stages throughout a central, easily accessible area, stir in a line-up of greats artists, serve for free. This two-day event hosts performances right in the heart of Tenjin, most of which cost ¥0, including big names like ohashiTrio.

ミュージックシティ天神 2015

千年夜市博多新的遊樂場“夜市千年”！是個夏季的週六百貨和美食集散地。白天有九州農家出售蔬菜和加工農產品，晚間則變為夜市，有氣氛熱烈的音樂、表演等各式舞台活動；除了逛雜貨、按摩及占卜之類的行程，營業至 23:00 的眾美食攤位也是受歡迎的宵夜選擇。

音樂都市天神 2015人潮匯聚的天神地區，到處都有免費的音樂表演可以欣賞。以福岡市政府西側交誼廣場作為主會場，分別於警固公園、天神地區等十幾處設置了表演場地。無論職業或業餘，所有的音樂家都熱情的演奏著，一起透過音樂來進行有趣的交流吧！特別推薦大橋三重唱。

후쿠오카 여름 야시장여름 동안 매주 토요일에 열리는 하카타의 새로운 명소 여름 야시장. 낮에는 큐슈의 농가에서 재배한 채소와 가공품을 판매, 밤에 열리는 나이트 바자에서는 잡화 판매부터 마사지, 점 등의 즐길 거리와 더불어 하카타의 인기 맛집 부스도 23시까지 영업한다.

뮤직 시티 텐진 2015 텐진 곳곳에서 울려 퍼지는 음악을 무료로 감상할 수 있는 이벤트. 메인 스테이지(후레아이 광장) 외에도 케고 공원 등에 총 10개 이상의 특설 스테이지가 마련된다. 아마추어부터 프로에 이르기까지 다양한 뮤지션들이 열정적인 퍼포먼스를 선보일 예정.

City Participates in First ODA ProjectFukuoka will participate in a waterworks-related overseas development aid (ODA) project organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Yangon, Myanmar. Certificate Issuance Notification System to BeginOn Sept. 1, a new service will commence to notify you if a third party has had official certificates issued in your name. Pre-registration is required to use this service. If you are a registered resident of Fukuoka (or used to be but live elsewhere in Japan), you can pre-register at the Citizen Section of the Ward Office or Branch Office where your residence record is on file.

Fukuoka and Atlanta Celebrate 10 Years as Sister CitiesFukuoka has sister city ties with seven cities around the world: Oakland, CA, USA; Guangzhou, China; Bordeaux, France; Auckland, New Zealand; Ipoh, Malaysia; Busan, Korea; and Atlanta, GA, USA. To celebrate 10 years of sister-cityship, Atlanta sent 30 flowering

dogwood trees to Fukuoka, who planted them in Island City Central Park.

Premium Gift Certificates: Round 2Fukuoka Next Premium Gift Certificates allow you to buy ¥12,000 worth of goods for ¥10,000. A lottery for the first batch of certificates was held in July, and they were sold in August. The next round of certificates will go on sale at 10:00 on Sept. 5 on a first-come, first-served basis at five locations throughout the city: Aeon Kashiihama, Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin, YouMe Town Hakata, Aeon Sasaoka and Aeon Marina Town. National Census to Offer Online ServiceIn Japan, a national census is conducted once every five years to generate basic population statistics. Now, the census is about to go online. Starting in early September, census takers will visit every household to distribute instructions for completing the online census form. PC and smartphone users are asked to complete their forms by Sept. 20. Those who don't reply using the online form should complete the standard paper form and drop it in the mail by Oct. 7.
