Life Scope TR provides continuous monitoring without reducing the monitoring parameters during transport.

When the patient is transported to a new care setting, just detach the input unit and connect it to a different monitor. The patient information, including trend and waveforms, is transferred to the new bedside monitor to create one seamless patient record.

Smart CableTM technology miniaturizes circuits found in traditional modules and embeds that circuitry into the cable. With Smart CableTM technology, you get complete modular flexibility at a significantly reduced cost and without the inconvenience associated with traditional modular systems.

When you plug a Smart CableTM into a MULTI connector, it automatically detects the type of parameter and starts measuring.

As new parameters are developed, Nihon Kohden will incorporate the new parameters into the new Smart CableTM, guaranteeing your monitoring investment against obsolescence.

Interbed monitoringYou can use any bedside monitor to check the vital information and alarm status of another monitor in the network, even if there is no central monitor.

Effective alarm system

The alarm indicator on top of the monitor can be clearly seen at a distance. The alarm indicator is also synchronized with heart rate, blood pressure or SpO�.

Nihon Kohden’s ec1 arrhythmia analysis provides superior elimination of false alarms. ec1 has been evaluated with world standard arrhythmia databases as well as Nihon Kohden’s ECG database, with a result of 80% reduction of false alarms.

PWTT (Pulse Wave Transit Time) triggered NIBP measurement increases the chance to detect a sudden change in blood pressure. PWTT can be calculated from ECG and SpO� non-invasively. If PWTT exceeds a threshold during periodic NIBP measurement, it triggers NIBP measurement.

HL7 Gateway

An HL7 gateway connects the LS-NET monitor network to the hospital or clinical information system (HIS, CIS). Vital sign data, alarm history, arrhythmia and ST recall, 1�-lead analysis reports, and waveforms* in the bedside monitor can be transferred using HL7 protocol.

*Some limitations apply to transferring waveforms.
