Black sensation company would like to express the deepest appreciation to all those who provided the possibilities to complete this event, a special gratitude to coca cola company, covenant consultancy firm, all the speakers, schools, bongo 5, south Africa high commission and channel 10, family and friends, your contributions stimulated the coordination of this event.

Acknowledgment

Background

This unique event aimed at curbing the demand of information by the youths on their history, cultures and customs. It offered a chance for them to come together, learn and get reminded about African heroes, customs and culture.

through music performance, discussion projected art works, documentaries, plays, poems, dances and African innovation showcase.

Objectives Broaden, remind and inform youths about their history and

culture.

Enhance a patriotic spirit amongst youth that seems to be

limping

Motivate the youths to work hard reflecting that most

African Heroes became heroes during their youths.

Forster unity amongst them in-conjunction with the

information that is going to be provided and the interactions

amongst themselves.

Eight secondary students were brought together international school of Tanganyika, Tusiime high school, Jitegemee secondary school, Azania boys secondary school, Benjamin Mkapa, Kisutu secondary school, Makongo secondary school, and Salma Kikwete secondary school

Briefly

The event was opened by the Guest of Honor Mr. Oswald(Head of history department) on behalf of Prof. Florens D.A.M Luoga. (Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic), He gave a short speech of why should Africans embrace their origin, then followed by discussion facilitated by speakers along side with students performances and exhibitions.

Number of topics were discussed:

Leadership- facilitated by Mr. Remmy Eseka from PWC.

Education and life skills-facilated by Haki Elimu,Shule Direct

and Convenant Consultancy firm.

Entrepreneurship-facilitated by Mr. Rumisho Shikonyi from

Rulex media.

Life skills-facilitated by Mr. Rogers Katuma from Aweding

Noting the impact that this event had brought to youths,

It is of no doubt that such events should be done in conjunction with other events whose core value is to up-bring, remind, inform the youth of their roots, nurture them on how to be part and take part into building a better Africa for the current and future generation.

This should also come as a call to organizations, institutions, companies and all stakeholders to support this course for present and the future Africa lies in the hands of the youth and how they are shaped and think.

With the aim of attaining our objective we welcome all recommendations, suggestions and ideas that will help us achieve our course.
