When Helga first came into the store, she was looking to

get an elderly acquaintance who had just lost her license, into a scooter. The look on her face when she saw the pretty little pink scooter was priceless – she was wearing almost all pink so I quickly gathered she was a huge fan of the color. We got out to see her friend and after the scooter was delivered Helga came back for another look at the Pink GK-10. She does not drive and is constantly tak-ing the bus or waiting for taxi’s to get around

– she could just jump on her scooter and go! After taking delivery and spending a little time on it Helga called me again – she wanted another one for her daughter. Peggy, also a huge fan of the color Pink, had been in a bad bicycle accident and found it hard to

walk more than a block or two – again like Helga was always waiting for

buses and taxi’s. Now that Hel-ga and Peggy have their little pink scooters they are quite the spokeswomen – I am al-ways getting calls from peo-ple asking about the mother/

daughter duo riding the little pink scooters who were more

than happy to stop and talk about them! Looking forward to help-

ing them stay out and about in the years to come...... Congrats ladies on being PRACTI-CAL (and Pretty) IN PINK!

Pink If your scooter is more than 2 years old it may be time for a new set of electric mo-

tor brushes. Symptoms of worn brushes are a jerky, shuddering, hesitant ride that can result in a breakdown. Replacing worn brushes are an inexpensive way of prolonging the life of your scooter motor. Prices vary depending on make and model of scooter.You may also consider a Comprehensive Large Scale Servicing which includes:- pulling all wheels and lubricating axle’s- lubricating steering head and steering mechanics- check, lubricate, and adjust Transaxle- replacement of worn axle keyways- new set of electric motor brushes- detailed cleaning of scooter exterior- free loaner while your scooter in the shop
