1. 6AS SCIENCE SNIPPETS By 6a
2. PROFESSOR AT WORK Here are our Scientists explaining to the
class, that reflection can change the view of an object. So in this
case a knife is being put into a jar of water and is looking bigger
than its normal size.
3. REFLECTION, CHANGES THE SIZE OF THE KNIFE Now, is that a
normal knife you use to eat with. I dont think so. So the theory
has been proved. The refraction of something can really change the
look of things. Fish can look really big underwater.
4. GERMINATION EXPERIMENT Here are the five people that will be
looking after the plants for the Germination project.
5. THE ENVIRONMENTS THAT THE PLANTS COULD OR COULD NOT SURVIVE
IN Number 1 of the cups, was to be sprinkled with water and kept in
a sunny place, everyday. Number 2 of the cups, was to be kept on a
window sill but no water was to be added. Number 3 of the cups, was
to be filled up with water that has been boiled and left to cool.
Number 4 of the cups, was to be watered each day but left in a
freezer. Number 5 was to be watered but kept in a dark, warm
place
6. A VERY SMOKY EXPERIMENT One of our main scientists has taken
his projects home and has come back into class with this
video.
7. A CLOUD TIME LAPSE One of our scientists also came in with a
video, but its about wind. It is a time lapse of clouds moving and
forming.
