Mis hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,

Espero que todo siga bien y que disfruten todos del paso constante del año. Gracias por recordar que "si eliges que puedes guardar los mandamientos, ellos te salvarán". Es por eso que los Cris anos nos reunimos, para que el Señor nos instruya en el camino de Sus estatutos, para que podamos cumplirlos exactamente ". A través de los sacramentos y nuestra comunión, el Señor nos hará firmes en los caminos de los estatutos de Dios.

Ser Cris ano es vivir como Cristo, actuar como Él quiere, "la sabiduría de Dios, misteriosa, oculta, que Dios ha predeter- minado antes de los siglos para nuestra gloria". Y esa es la clave: cuando hacemos estas cosas que Jesús nos dice hoy, cuando tratamos a los demás como el Señor quiere que lo hagamos, es 1) debido al Espíritu Santo, a quien hemos recibido, ya presente y trabajando en nosotros; y 2) nuestro camino a la salvación, el "reino de los cielos" se está formando aquí en la erra ahora y Dios nos san fica para estar en su presencia para siempre.

Dios quiere que todas las personas se salven, "a nadie le ordena que actúe injustamente, a nadie le da licencia para pecar". ¡Dios nos bendiga toda esta semana! "El que obedece y enseña estos mandamientos será llamado el más grande en el reino de los cielos ”. ¡Gracias por todo lo que haces!

A Message from our Pastor My brothers and sisters in Christ,

I hope all stays well and y’all enjoy the year’s steady passing. Thank you for remembering that “If you choose you can keep the commandments, they will save you.” That is why we Chris ans gather, that the Lord may instruct us in the way of His statutes, that we may exactly observe them” and that, through the sacraments and our fellowship, the Lord will make us firm in the ways of God’s statutes.

To be Chris an is to live like Christ, to act as he wants us to, “God’s wisdom, mysterious, hidden, which God predetermined before the ages for our glory.” And that’s the key- when we do these things that Jesus tells us today, when we treat others as the Lord wants us to, it’s 1) because of the Holy Spirit, who we have each received, already present and working in us; and 2) our path to salva on, the “kingdom of heaven” being formed here on earth now and God sanc fying us to be in His presence forever.

God wants all people to be saved, “No one does he command to act unjustly, to none does he give license to sin.” God bless us all this week! “whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Thank you for all that you do!
