I hope you’re enjoying November and God fills you with peace! On this weekend when the readings speak of using well whatever we have, please study the graph of the parish’s finances for 2018. You will see the actual numbers on it and they are also on our website for you to review but the Finance Council and I hope the graph makes it easier to see how things have balanced out this year.

Thanks to your generosity, we pay our bills and save some for the future (Remember the Borski House! An important mee ng coming up TUE 11/27!) Please study this informa on and tell me your thoughts. May Christ’s one, perfect sacrifice be manifested here in everything we do.

¡Espero que disfruten del mes de Noviembre y que Dios les llene de paz! En este fin de semana, las lecturas hablan de hacer buen uso de lo que tene-mos, por favor, estudien la gráfica de las finanzas de la parroquia durante el 2018. Verán los números rea-les en ella y también están en nuestra página de in-ternet para que las revisen, pero el Consejo Financi-ero y yo esperamos que la gráfica haga que sea más fácil ver cómo estamos con las finanzas este año.

Gracias a su generosidad, podemos cubrir nuestros gastos y podemos ahorrar algo para el futuro (¡Recuerden la Casa Borski! ¡Próxima reunión importante, Martes 11/27!) Estudien esta información y cuéntenme lo que piensan. Que el sac-rificio perfecto de Cristo se manifieste aquí en todo lo que hacemos.

Women Seeking the Road Less Traveled Thursday, Dec. 13 from 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. This is a monthly discernment gathering for single women ages 18 and older who are discerning a vocation to religious life. Meets in different convents around the Archdiocese from September to May. Program includes supper, a brief presentation and time for sharing, followed by prayer. Sisters from several religious orders who live and minister in the Archdiocese will be present. World Youth Day Houston and Eucharistic Vigil Come join hundreds of young adults (ages 18-39) in celebrat-ing WYD in Houston. In Memoria Concert The Archdiocesan Choir will present the 10th Annual “In Memoria” Concert on Sunday, November 18 at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart at 3:00 p.m. This year’s program will feature the music of American composer Morten Lauridsen and will include his “Lux Aeterna” for Chorus and Chamber Orchestra.
