Students choose all of the vegetables that they care to eat and a serving of milk. To complete their meal, students in grades K-8 choose one serving of fruit and students in grades 9-12 may choose up to two servings of fruit. Featured fruits and vegetables are listed on the menu but many additional choices are offered each day. When a dessert is offered, students may select it in addition to the five meal components.
