Dermal Tissue◦ It forms the skin of the plant, covering the leaves,

flowers, roots, fruits, and seeds. Vascular Tissue

◦ Xylem, responsible for movement of water and dissolved mineral nutrients, storage of food and support

◦ Phloem, responsible for movement of food. Ground Tissue

◦ 3 types found throughout the plant carryout many specialized functions.
