Analysis and Classification about the Principles used at overcoming Contradiction
Analysis and Classification about the Principles used at overcoming Contradiction
TechnicalContradiction 40 Principles
1 Segmentation2 Separation…
35 Parameter change36 Phase transitions…
40 Composite materials
divide an object into independent partsmake an object easy to disassembleincrease the degree of fragmentation (or segmentation) of an object
separate an 'interfering' part (or property) from an object, or single out the only necessary part (or property) of an object
change an object`s physical state (e.g. to a gas, liquid, or solid),change the concentration or consistency, change the degree of flexibility, change the temperature.
use phenomena occurring during phase transitions (e.g. volume changes, loss or absorption of heat, etc.).
change from uniform to composite (multiple) materials

In every technological system, one can discern two objects or substances, S1 and S2.
[ex : two parts of system the system itself and its product the system and its environment]
These substances interact or communicate through a field, F.
[ex : Mechanical Acoustic Thermal Chemical Electric Magnetic etc]
The relationship between the field and the two substances can be expressed in a Su-Field triangle.
This triangle diagram may be thought of the technological system. It is of course a very simple, abstract model.More detailed models can be made by adding more nodes, linking triangles together, etc.
Su-Field Analysis
• 1956 ~ 1970, Altshuller researched “Resource”

• 1970 ~ 1985, he researched Problem Solving ProcessAttention!ARIZ is a complicated tool. Do not apply it to solve new practical problems without at least for 80 academic hours of preliminary study.
ARIZ Education at SAMSUNG by TRIZ Master Nikolai Khomenko

1.1. formulate the mini-problem1.2. define the conflicting elements1.3. describe graphic models for technical contradiction1.4. select a graphic model for further analysis1.5. intensify the conflict1.6. describe the problem model1.7. apply the inventive standards
Step 2. Analyzing the Problem Model2.1. define the operational zone (oz)2.2. define the operational time (ot)2.3. define the substance-field resources (sfr)
Attention!ARIZ is a complicated tool. Do not apply it to solve new practical problems without at least for 80 academic hours of preliminary study.

Step 3. Defining Ideal Final Result (IFR) and Physical Contradiction (PhC)3.1. formulate IFR-13.2. intensify definition of IFR-13.3. Identify the physical contradiction for the macro-level3.4. Identify the physical contradiction for the micro-level3.5. formulate IFR-23.6. apply the inventive standards to resolved physical contradiction
Step 4. Mobilizing and Utilizing of Substance-Field Resources (SFR)4.1. simulation with little creatures4.2. to take a"step back" from IFR4.3. using combination of substance resources4.4. using "void"4.5. using derived resources4.6. using an electrical field4.7. using a field and field-sensitive substance
Attention!ARIZ is a complicated tool. Do not apply it to solve new practical problems without at least for 80 academic hours of preliminary study.
