Our Learning Class 1 have been looking at how animals adapt to changes in weather. Look out for skating penguins! Class 2 have been writing stories about dinosaurs. Myla-Rose’s story was an epic tale including a volcano and a vampire! Class 3 have been doing lots of investigations about light in science. Ryan said “we learnt that light travels in a straight line and bounces off things.” Class 4 are learning about Viking myths and Norse Gods. Sophie said “it’s really interesting because Odin lost his eye! He put his eye in a wishing well! This was for more knowledge.” Year 5/6 County Football Final On Thursday Miss Poad took a team of 10 pupils to York College to compete in the U11 Football County Finals. The team played brilliantly and we are very proud that they reached this stage in the compeon. Well Done!! The next Friends of School meeting will take place on Thursday 6th February at 3.30pm. Our Learning

Class 1 have been looking at how

Sickness in school

We have had a few cases of

sickness and diarrhoea in school

this week. Please can we remind

parents that children must be off

school for 48 hours after the last

episode to avoid spreading. Thank
