Introduction to Case Study
In this case study, our goal is to identify and quantify the load acting on the structural members of a 2-3
storeys house.
The house we chose was a bungalow located in Subang Heights. The columns and beams are built in
such that it resists the loads acting on it, which is a common practice in resident houses. By studying the
plan drawings, we have analysed the locations of the structural members and how does it affects the
spaces.
