REELING CABLE
RHEYFIRM(RTS) R-(N)TSCGEWTOEUS adapted to DIN VDE 0250 part 813
Application
Flexible reeling cable for energy supply with cable guidance in different levels, e.g. reel axis in travel direction. Especially for high and extreme mechanical stress e.g. torsional stresses ( ± 25 °/m ) and high reeling speed up to 270 m/min and a min. tensile load of 10 N/mm². For connection of large material handling machines such as excavators, cranes, stacker/reclaimer, dumpers, mobile crushers in open-pit mines on console-cable reels/level wind reels. Further requirements see DIN VDE 0298 part 3. Three main cores and the protective conductor symmetrically split in the interstices with embedded reinforcement in the outer sheath. Other special designs – depending on application – are also possible:
• with strain relief and improved flexibility for applications with increased mechanical tension
• extra cold resistant/flexible sheaths ( RHEYFIRM(RTK) )
Design
Conductor: Copper, plain, flexible stranded acc. to DIN EN 60228 class 5 Insulation: - inner semi-conductive stress control layer - elastomeric insulation EPR compound RHEYCLEAN-HV - outer semi-conductive insulation shield layer Protective conductor Copper conductor, plain, semi-conducting layer Cabling Power cores assembled over semi-conductive rubber centre with semi-conductive rubber fillers and the divided protective conductor in the interstices Inner sheath Extruded sheath of GM1b synthetic rubber compound filling the interstices Reinforcement Embedded braid made of synthetic threads with very high tensile load Outer sheath Chlorinated heavy duty rubber compound 5GM5, colour: red Marking on customer request or standard embossed marking e.g.: RHEYFIRM(RTS) R-(N)TSCGEWTOEUS 3x50+3x25/3 6/10 kV I NEXANS I year
