Thank you for opening this brochure. We hope that it gives you a great insight into who we are and why we do what we do.

We’ve been making inflatable SUP boards since 2008 and that’s all we make. This focus allows us to look at the world of inflatable boards from a unique perspective and it allows you to own a product that is designed to give you the absolute best experience possible.

We believe that owning an inflatable board should not mean you have to compromise on performance, looks or quality. We believe that the experience you get when you use one of our boards is that of an authentic SUP experience and not a low quality substitute to the real thing. Inflatable SUP boards offer the ultimate in convenience but this should not be at the expense of performance.

We’ve always thought of the design of our boards as so much more than just how they look. It’s the whole experience. Owning an inflatable board is about storage, transportation, ease of inflation, as well as on-water performance. To design a board is only part of the process. Owning a Red Paddle Co inflatable board is about the whole package, the real deal and not some compromising experience that leaves you wanting more.

Tec Air

Tec Air is not a product it’s a process . By focussing in on the key areas of the production process we have been able to identify ways we can improve the end result . Whether it be detailing exactly where and how the layers are bonded or how the rocker curve is applied to the board, no area of the design process is ignored .

The key areas of construction are inside the board . Our attention to detail on the inside ensures the best experience on the outside .

Rocker Stiffening System (RSS)

The RSS system is unique to Red Paddle Co . By inserting stiffening battens into pockets on the side of the board we have been able to increase the stiffness of our boards by up to 40% .

We use the RSS system on all 100mm/4” boards (excluding 9’4” ) to bring them up to the same stiffness as our 120mm boards but still maintaining the great manoeuvre characteristics of a 100mm/4” board . To engineer the best system, the pockets are individually laminated into position .

Nothing comes close to our tried and tested iFin system . Zero warranty requests since we star ted using the system mean that we remain confident that it is the best option. No tools, replacements or spares are needed for the iFin system . They deliver great performance and are the most durable fin available.

The Explorer and Race designs use a US Box system to allow for rider tuning . This is a global fin standard so fins can easily be replaced if lost.

Thickness

The thickness of any board is as important as all other dimensions (Length and width) . The thickness of an inflatable board is even more important as it not only has an effect on flotation but also stiffness - everybody needs and wants the stiffest board possible . Thicker boards are stiffer but building them too thick reduces responsiveness . We therefore use three thicknesses: 100mm/3.93”, 120mm/4.7” and 150mm/6” .

This allows us to deliver the authentic SUP experience that we feel so strongly about . We also have our patented RSS stiffening system that allows us to increase stiffness where performance would normally be lost .

100mm/3.93”This thickness is perfect for boards with a surfing orientation. It gives you better control and feel on moving water and with the RSS system you get a board that is stiffer than any other board of this kind available today.

120mm/4.7”This thickness gives a board that has the perfect volume and feel for all round use, whether it be sliding along on a wave or gliding up the creek or across the bay. The world’s biggest selling inflatable SUP board, the Red Paddle Co 10’6”, is built in 120mm thickness.

150mm/6”This thickness gives you a board that floats high out of the water and therefore is ideal for creating maximum glide on flat water or maximum speed on the race course. Add the RSS system to these boards and you have the highest performing inflatable SUP board available.

The Red Paddle Co Ten Six is the single most popular inflatable SUP board in the world. Designed to match the requirements of the all round rider, it will float and glide easily on flat water, while still riding smoothly and predictably in surf .

While some inflatable boards flex uncontrollably we know how to build just the right amount of curve into the plan shape to create a stiff board . The board is 120mm/4 .7” thick, which increases stiffness while not affecting the ride and performance of this iconic board .

Fin placement and rocker lines are the key ingredients that turn our boards from being ordinary into something that you want to ride again and again .

The perfect board for the bigger rider (220lbs/100kgs+) and the family paddler . Get the kids on board with you! A great board to use as a tender to get out to the boat . The Mega is quite literally mega!

The board is 120mm thick . This increases stiffness while not affecting the ride and performance of this iconic board . The 120mm thickness means that the rider can obtain greater stiffness at lower pressure . The 120mm board is more than 40% stiffer than a standard 100mm board at the same pressure .

The combination of overall width plus the wide tail creates an unbelievably stable platform . We have designed this board to work in all conditions, from cruising up the river to picking up waves quickly and easily . It has a similar mid point and nose shape as the 10’6” and shares similar lines throughout which means it will keep up in a group of paddlers on the flat while being more fun in waves than the bigger boards .

The board for those riders looking for a classic longboard style . It is a great trim and glide board for those long sandbar waves that are so much fun on an SUP . It tracks straight during take off and can be threaded across sections with ease thanks to its narrower tail .

The Ten Zero is the result of sharing sessions with our customers and working with our team to produce a board that filled the gap between the 9’6” and 10’6” . The result is a board with a more traditional surfing feel.

Ideal for riders up to 85kg, the Surfer has a nice, smooth glide across the face and paddles quickly between sets thanks to it’s trim 30” width . It is designed as a surfing SUP board but it can still be enjoyed on flat water by lighter riders below 80kgs . It’s a great all round board for riders in the 60-80kg weight range.

10’6” Max Race Taking shape inspiration from our Elite boards, the Max Race has been designed for speed and close competition in the youth racing class . The shorter length means it’s manageable both on and off the water and the 26” width makes it stable enough while still super quick in a straight line .

Fitted with our Patented RSS stiffening system there is no stiffer Youth race board . The board comes fitted with a US finbox so racers can add their favourite fin.

12’6” Race

The Race is a fantastic board that will amaze you . The rocker line is designed to give fast glide and ride. The single nose fin helps tracking while the centre fin at the rear gives the right amount of grip without adding drag .

While most manufacturers of inflatable race board classes are forcing them into one design classes the Elite boards allow you to step up and compete with all comers in the main race .

Faster than you thought possible, the Elite boards lead the way in stiffness, shape, consistency and speed .

The Elites come in 12’6” and 14’ sizes . Utilising our RSS system the boards are super stiff, which means you don’t loose efficiency through flex - the biggest problem on most inflatable race boards .

The boards are 26” wide which means they are not for the first timer but in the right hands they are super fast .

The 14’ is also a great downwind board . It picks up swell really easily and has a great glide to it . You really have to ride it to believe how good this board is .

The Red Paddle Co Ezee Pump .

This is the pump ideally suited to putting in the high volume of air needed in our larger boards . You are able to use less pump strokes to pump up your board . It comes complete with a pressure gauge so you can check your progress anytime . The Ezee pump comes with all boards from 10’8” - 14’. You can get these boards inflated in almost half the time it would take with the HP version . For the ultimate experience you may like to also purchase a HP pump to make reaching the high pressure easier . The 2 pumps use the same connectors so the hose and gauge are interchangeable .

The Red Paddle Co HP Ezee Pump .

We worked with Bravo the world’s leading pump manufacturer to produce the High Pressure (HP) version of our Ezee Pump . Almost anybody can pump one of our boards to 20 psi with the HP pump . The HP pump comes complete with a pressure gauge that is clearly marked so you can check your progress anytime . The HP pump comes with boards from 9’2” -10’6”

We know that when it comes to using an inflatable board, paddling is only part of the experience . This is why we’ve spent just as much time developing the absolute best luggage system for your board .

After covering over 100,000 miles with our boards we had a really good idea of what was needed from the ultimate bag . Our all new bag has the most significant developments yet seen with inflatable board bags. It has integrated wheels that make travelling through airports a pleasure . The hidden back pack system can be stowed when not in use and is super comfy when you need to put the board on your back . The front loading system makes packing and unpacking super simple . The internal straps make sure the board stays put while in transit . This bag truly is the ultimate solution for travel and storage .

To make things even better we have introduced the Luggage System 2 .1 . Available separately this back pack attaches to the front of the main bag and can easily be detached for use by itself . It has a laptop sleeve, main compartment and front organiser pockets . A great day pack for work, or school or just a day at the beach .
