INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT

The Liefering Ice Hockey Academy provides the foundations for the International Ice Hockey Development Model (IIDM), a program which pro-vides training and support for the mainly internationally constituted Red Bull teams from U16 through to the first squad. The key aim is to give talented young ice hockey players comprehensive, expert support and as-sistance on their road to becoming top players. These young players have the chance to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the IIDM and develop the fundamental skills required to become a world class player.

The Ice Hockey Academy is a modern training and educational complex, offering a wide range of training facilities and a unique environment for development of sporting talent. Training sessions are run by internationally

renowned training staff, who have many years' experience of working with upcoming players. The Academy also promotes the personal de-velopment of young players by creating a healthy social environment, which allows them sufficient time and space to pursue personal interests and activities.

The Academy targets young talent between the ages of 14 and 20 from both Austria and abroad, with the majority of students coming from within Germany and Austria. The IIDM comprises five develop-ment teams in different age categories (international: U21, U18 & U18; national: U20 & U16).
