Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “

On some issues regarding licensing and permission system required for certain types

of business activities”

The legislative framework

To do business activities in the country, it is required to get many permission forms from various agencies. This, in its turn, have negative impact on the improvement of business, employment and investments. To improve the situation it is necessary to simplify licensing and permission system for trade facilitation.

The Decree requires for Cabinet of Ministers to draft “Licensing and permission system”

within three months.
