Dear Colleagues, Mr. Madhur Gupta
Chief Executive Officer Greetings to the Team-Hero Steels Limited
With increased cases and multiple lockdowns, May has been a difficult month for our country and of course for Hero Steels Ltd. Some of us have lost our loved ones during the second Covid wave. I pray for the deceased souls and extend blessings to the deceased family. Although the pandemic is not yet over but we are happy that during the last two months we have been able to vaccinate almost our entire workforce. In the last two months, we also completed goal setting exercise for the financial targets for FY 21-22. As most of our customers’ plants were closed, May fall short of our targeted sales figures, though we didn’t make any loses either. With three vaccinations available today’ more to follow, we expect fewer lockdowns in future. I want to congratulate the star performers of April and May month. I also want to congratulate people who have participated in scoop of knowledge-Daily 10,000 Steps challenge. You have set examples for many, but we should not stop here and we must follow a healthy daily regime. With situation improving every day, we will not only recover but rise stronger than ever before. I am confident that we will achieve operational excellence in the coming months. Stay safe stay healthy! Madhur Gupta

Mr. Deepak Jain AGM – HRD Greetings to the Team-Hero Steels Limited
I hope you and your dear ones are safe and taking care of yourselves. Positive thinking is the belief that good things will happen and that one’s efforts will be crowned with success. The effects of positive thinking are magical. Psychologists believe that nothing gears up people to make whole hearted efforts to perform some task as positive thinking. Positive thinking helps a person find a way in a difficult task or a tough situation. History is full of examples that show that people have achieved amazing results by perseverance and positive attitude. The feat by the young Indian side under M.S. Dhoni’s captaincy to win the Twenty – 20 World Cup. Abraham Lincoln fought many elections in a row. He could not win even a single election. But hope sprang eternal in him. He contested the presidential election and own. He became the president of America. Such examples are endless. All of them go on to show the major role positive thinking plays in our success. The role of mentors in building the confidence of employees (mentee) and telling them about the importance of positive thinking is also vital. In the modern age of science there are many ways like yoga, meditation, exercises, reading of inspiring books which can relieve us of tension, worry and make us relaxed, hopeful and positive thinker.
