SOLAR PCU [1 kVA - 100 kVA]

The Solar PCU (Power Conditioning Unit) is the heart of any solar power system and its main function is to

convert direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). Solar Power Conditioning Unit (PCU) is an

integrated system consisting of a solar charge controller, inverter and a Grid charger. It provides the

facility to charger the battery bank either through Solar or Grid-DG set. AIRKOM PCU are a combined unit

comprising of inverter, charge controller, visual display and necessary protections. These are high

efficiency bi-directional inverters with priority for Solar charging. It switches to Grid charging automatically

or manually.

The petrol pump must run on a 24x7 basis and requires

intelligent power management. Our solar power solution

serves as an excellent solution for Petrol Pumps level

electrification due to extremely remote location of petrol

Pumps where grid electricity is available for few hours or

not available at all.

We install solar power panels to provide enough power that

helps in efficiently operating fuel guns and office

equipment. These panels support multiple fuel gun

operation and switch automatically and spontaneously

between the grids causing no harm to client. It is more

advantageous than diesel generator. Use of solar energy in

petrol pumps has proven to offer reliable operations of

dispensing units even in load shedding hours. The

dispensing units last long as the solar system provides

SOLAR POWER SOLUTIONS FOR TELECOM

TOWER

We provide innovative solar solutions for telecom sector

that helps in reducing downtime and bringing down

energy costs. These solutions ensure reliable and on-

site power supply for operating base terminal stations,

microwave repeater stations, satellite radio and

telemetry systems. These custom designed solar power

solutions are ideal for powering tower sites and

reducing dependence on fuel hungry diesel gensets.

For the GSM Technology, it requires an average of 6

BTS to operate one tower – each requiring 10 Amps of

current. Each shelter has two (1.5 ton) air conditioners

which offer 1,000W capacity for the key maintenance of

the temperature for the shelter’s electronic systems. The

DG set is typically 15 kVA capacity, which consumes an

average of 3 litres of diesel per hour. Solar PV is more

efficient than diesel and provides better IRR, making it a

superior supplement to diesel during day-time hours.

As telecom sector is expanding in rural areas, it

requires cost effective power solutions for operation.
