• Rajasthan, the famous land is also known by the name land of the kings or by the Rajputana, is one of the largest state in the Democratic India. It covers an overall area of 342,239 sq kilometers, which is a total of 10.4% of India.
• Despite the fact, the Great Indian Desert is also known as Thar covers the most parts of Rajasthan. Sutlej-Indus river valley runs parallel to the Thar Desert. Jaipur
• Jaipur, the capital of the state Rajasthan is also the largest city in the region. It was founded in the year of 1727, by the Kachwaha Rajput Ruler Sawai Jaisingh II, who was also the ruler of Amber.
• Jaipur is famously known by its nickname ‘Pink City of India’ which is due to the typical pink color or saffron of the buildings
Jodhpur
• Jodhpur is the second largest City in the state of Rajasthan, and is also known as the city of blue. The city was founded in 1459 by the Rathore Rajput Ruler, Rao Jodha Singh of Marwar. The city was founded historically as Marwar’s new capital after the fall of the previous capital of Mandore.
Udaipur
• Udaipur is a charming place full of beautiful gardens, grand palaces, old mansions and intricate temples overlooking grand shimmering lakes. The famous City Palace, which occupies a large area along the eastern shore of Lake Pichola, is a tremendous highlight.
Mount Abu
• The place takes feel to be proud of it being the only hill station in the state of Desert, Rajasthan. Mount Abu is located in the mountain range of the Aravalli and is included in the Sirohi District of Rajasthan.
