Last year saw over 3500 paddlers, volunteers and race fans gather in Harrison Hot Springs to watch races, enjoy the sunshine and keep lo- cal shop owners busy. The Harrison Dragon Boat Regatta was established to: • Share the tradition of Dragon Boating with other B.C. communities • Create a safe, fun and exciting race environment • Expand the sport of Dragon Boat Racing within our community • Promote Harrison Hot Springs as a Destination Race location • Help local charities (Canoe for Food Program - Local Food Bank) • Raise funds to continue the sport of dragon boating in the Fraser Valley
