Thank you to all the partners that helped with Neighborhood Night Out in Elkader and Monona. We had over 175 attendees between the two towns and had a lot of fun and informative. If you would like to help us plan next year’s event in August, let us
know!
Minors in Possession Team Meeting Update:
This group is looking into the roles of law enforcement, juvenile court services, and schools to better understand what each party is responsible for and providing a quick reference to each outlining roles. Other items being
discussed are a diversion program & conversing with law enforcement and schools to understand the situations they encounter regarding youth use of alcohol and tobacco. If you have interest in learning more about this team,
contact us for more information.

Check out this drug indicator exhibit to see what items are easy to overlook in a teenager’s bedroom. Exhibit is interactive and knowledgeable hosts will
be available to answer questions.
Contact us to host an
event in your Community!
Adults Only. Youth may attend with a
parent/guardian.
FREE for any group in Clayton County to host.
Hidden In Plain Sight traveled to North Fayette Valley and Riceville to teach 65 more individuals
about drug indicators.
Let us know if you have a venue or organization that would like to view
the exhibit and learn about drug indicators!
“Party Your Life Away” A Mannequin Challenge
5C, with the help of community partners, created a message to
the community to remember how important decisions can be
when it comes to alcohol, parties, and driving. If you haven’t seen
the video, you can find it on 5C’s YouTube Channel or by clicking
HERE.
Great opportunity to pair with awareness weeks or discussions at
school!
Social Host Team Meeting Update:
This group is addressing the issue of underage parties at homes and private lands. A social host ordinance will address individuals that control the party location by holding them responsible for providing a location
through a civil fine. The team will be hosting community meetings in three school districts to discuss and hear concerns about drugs and alcohol concerns while also discussing the ordinance draft. If you
would like to be a part of this team, contact us to learn more.
