My audience has an expensive and eccentric taste. This is expressed through their clothing and accessories for example, gold chains/teeth grills.

Tattoos are a way of self expression which is important my audience. Individuality is important to my predominantly young audience .

Designer labels are a sign of wealth. It is a way to physically inform the people around of your taste and wealth.

Wearing slick and edgy clothing makes the person seem trendy and fashionable, therefore respectable.

LEISURE ACTIVITIES, PASTTIMES AND HOBBIES

Clubbing and music. Clubs are for young adults. They play current songs which appeal to my readers.

Being social. Having a tight group of friends and chilling together.

A passion for music. So much so they make their own mixtape. This is another way to be self expressive.

Being part of a social scene. Skating for example means that people can be social just acquaintances, people they don’t know however have a mutual hobby.

Thrive to do well and be a success. Status is very important to this kind of person. To achieve highly is a huge aim in the eyes of my audience, as their role models do the same.

To be respected. Achieving highly means the people around you will thinking highly of you. As a predominantly young person respect is something you thrive to gain.

Live their dream and achieving their life goals. The young crave to be in control and call their own shots, having everything you wanted is a symbol of success - something that is important to my audience.

Lifestyle. To have a glamorous lifestyle, to socialise with other successful people who are in the know.

My readers thrive to be a success and become a well established Middle Class or Elite citizen, achieving their life goals.

Established Middle Class: Members of this class have high levels of all three capitals although not as high as the Elite. They are a gregarious and culturally engaged class.

BEING CONNECTED TO THE CITY makes the drive to be individual and self expressive stronger. The city has a huge cultural diversity, which is embraced by the young . RAP AND HIP HOP requires the daring and urban edge that my target audience both enjoy and possess.
