Friction investigationFriction is a pushing force between two surfaces.

If the surfaces slide across each other easily, this shows that there is low friction. •If the surfaces grip each other, there is high friction. •

Carry out an investigation, using a Newton meter to measure, to find out which trainer has the highest friction against a surface. Remember to keep the test fair – change the trainer but keep everything else the same.
