Punch Art Lion

Step One: Take your punch pieces as pictured.

Using your paper snips, snip of four scallops from the Basic Black scallop circle punch piece – for the eyes and inner ears. . Optional: It wouldn’t be one of Punch Art projects if the pieces are not sponged. Sponge all you punch pieces – not black

Step Two: Take your two five petal punch pieces and adhere them on top of each other as pictured. And adhere ontop of the scallop circle punch piece.

Adhere the 1 3/8” circle punch piece ontop of the 5 petal pieces Using a 2-way glue pen, adhere two of the black scallops onto two of the ½” circles as pictured, And glue and slot them into behind the 1 3/8” circle peice to make the ears. To make the eyes, I have sniped off a bit more of the scallop slices and glued them to the head, as pictured. Dont worry about how it looks, the nose covers this.

To make the nose, take the word window piece, a ½” circle in pink and mustard and glue them behind the word window as pictured. Glue the small heart as pictured. Attach a dimensional and fix the nose to the head as pictured.

Step: 3 Attach a dimensional to the top of the wide oval punch piece, and affix the head to the body. Take your curly label punch piece to the body and glue on the paws as pictured. The stamp sets I have used is Vintage Labels and Short and Sweet stamp sets.

Using the white gel pen, add highlighting and using the Stampin’ Write Marker, add eyelashes and markings to the paws.
