the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
effective from 01st January 2005, the Official Journal of The
Patent Office is required to be published under
the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on
every Friday covering the various proceedings
on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145
of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on
this Official Journal and other information as required by the
public should be addressed to the Controller
General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and
comments are requested from all quarters so that
the content can be enriched.

Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official
Gazette of India Part III,
Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal
of the Patent Office is being published
containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as
publication of all the patent applications after 18th
months , grant of patents & all other information in respect
of the proceedings as required under the provisions
of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on
weekly basis on every Friday.
The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper
form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are
discontinued from 01/01/2009.
SPECIAL NOTICE
Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent
applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.
However, if duplication of publication of any application is
found, then earlier date of publication will be taken
for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and
Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months
from the date of second publication, provided that there is
there is no third party representation.

(57) Abstract : An apparatus for automated monitoring of facial
images is disclosed. It comprises a cabinet (1) equipped with one

also has means for analyzing frames to identify human facial images
and for cropping facial images in unattended mode with date and
time information, if detected. The cabinet (1) also has at least
one means (6,7) for immediately transmitting cropped facial images
with date and time to at least one predefined storage unit (100),
to which the cabinet(1) is operatively connected. The storage unit

indicator rod has an end extending outside an end cap of the BOP,

close state, and a second position when the BOP is in an open
state. The detectable portion is located outside the end cap and is
configured to provide a visual indication relative to a current
position of the indicator rod. The sealing assembly is configured
to seal a space inside the end cap from an environment in which the
BOP operates.

capability to shear larger diameter well casings and internal
components during ram-type blowout preventer operation while

compound that increases the hardness and reduces the coefficient of

measurement signal, identifying a plurality of frequency bandwidths
of the frequency spectrum, neglecting none or one or more frequency
bandwidths of the plurality of frequency bandwidths, determining
the maximum magnitude of the spectrum in each of the nonneglected
frequency bandwidths, and - carrying out a comparison between each
of the determined maximum magnitudes and a predetermined value.
Rotating stall is considered occurring if at least one of the
comparisons shows that the corresponding determined maximum
magnitude is greater than the predetermined value

hydroxyl number from 75 to 150 mg KOH/g. The second component is
40-55 wt% polymerized residues of diphenyl methane diisocyanate .

steel wire rope force applying and detecting device, the steel
wirerope has a certain tension. So that when the steel wire rope is
wound to the lifting mechanism winding drum of the lifting
mechanism to be wound with a rope, the rope arrangement effect of
the lifting mechanism can be improved. Besides, the service life of
the steel wire rope can be prolonged simultaneously.
