The Pasadena Senior Center does not offer any assurance, whether expressed or implied, for any services rendered by these companies.

Meet our Business Sponsor – Assisted Healthcare Services

The Pasadena Senior Center has served the community for over 52 years. As an independent non-profit organization, the Center is supported through membership fees, private and business support and occasional public sector funding for its social service programs. Through the generosity of our Business Sponsors, we are able to offer a wide and diverse range of services, benefits and opportunities to our members and the public in general.

This month, we spotlight Assisted Healthcare Services.

Home is where the healing is. Assisted Healthcare Services believes it’s always easier to take your medicines, complete your physical therapy exercises, and sleep when you are in your own space. Home health services benefits, covered by Medicare and most private insurance companies, are verified for you by Assisted prior to establishing your individualized plan. Since 1989, Assisted Healthcare Services has earned the trust of thousands of families who needed help after a hospital stay or during illness.

As with all Business Sponsors, you can access a direct link to Assisted Healthcare Services from our website (www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org) or call Susie Flores at (562) 230-3463.

To: Akila Gibbs, Executive Director

You occasionally feature a volunteer in the Center News column called From the Executive Director.

As a member of the Pasadena Senior Center, I frequent the Center at different times and attend some

of the events. I would like to compliment the office staff for all they do; the maintenance staff ready

and willing to help when asked; and those involved with the lunch program. I see a staff person walk

through the lobby and he or she says hello with a smile that makes you feel welcome.

The receptionists who answer questions with a smile have lots of patience (and I do mean lots of

patience.) Those involved with the lunch program are truly appreciated (I eat there once in a while)

for their prompt and courteous service. The tables are always clean and have some type of decoratio

n

which lends to the enjoyment of the meal and atmosphere. As your column recognizes volunteers I

would like to give recognition to everyone who helps at the Center – we couldn’t do it without you.

Thank You!
