HAMSTECH Institute of Fashion & Interior Design wasestablished with the sole aim of offering qualitativeinstruction and training in the field of Fashion andInterior Design. Teaching Methodology

HAMSTECH Institute of Fashion & Interior Design hasdeveloped a comprehensive and cohesiveteaching methodology with a proactive learningsystem. Qualified and certified faculty speak for ourhigh professional standards. Fashion and InteriorDesign experts with varied domain expertise are partof our adjunct faculty. Practical Training and Internship

An industry internship is an invaluable experience for students tointerface between design and production. Apart from thenecessary classroom teaching, students undergo practical trainingin prestigious Fashion houses. They are trained in drafting Fashionwrite-ups, making presentations, project analysis and groupdiscussions. Students are taught to showcase their creative talent inportfolio presentation and ramp-shows. Development Centre

The Development Team is the nucleus of the various academiccourses offered. Comprising a team of qualified and experiencedacademicians along with renowned industry experts, thedevelopment team takes stock of the current market trends andaccordingly structures the courseware to formulate innovativeteaching strategies. INTERIOR DESIGN

Interior Design combines aesthetics with technological expertise andenables one to transform space into a pleasurable ambience. InteriorDesign is the manifestation of the human being’s innate desire foraesthetics. In the modern era, with shrinking space, especially in theurban areas, ambient functionality of living spaces has takenprecedence over all other considerations. Optimum use of a built-in-space is one of the chief requirements of the end-users, be it inthe housing or commercial sectors.

It is with the comprehensive knowledge of building materials andconstruction methods that an interior designer can collate form andfunction to create an integrated and harmonious interior.

Interior Design combines the very many elements like form, colour,light, texture, pattern with the principles of design like scale, balanceand rhythm to create an aesthetically pleasing and highly functionalspace. HAMSTECH Institute of Fashion & Interior Design firmly believes inthe adage “All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy”.Refreshing cultural programmes, where students areencouraged to participate and present their talents, offset ourintense study programmes. We believe that these culturalprogrammes that are in synchrony with syllabi taught, come as abreath of fresh air. HAMSTECH students regularly participate innumerous competitions like Debates, Quiz, Mr. & Miss HAMSTECH,Song and Dance competitions. Some of the competitions includetraditional arts like embroidery, fabric painting mehendi, miniaturemodels and clay models where students showcase their craftsand tools learnt in the courses.

Ramp Shows: The Fashion Shows and Ramp Shows, conductedboth in-house and off campus for specific occasions, provide avaluable platform to all students to bring forth their natural abilitiesand talents, to be witnessed and appreciated. The students atHAMSTECH Institute of Fashion & Interior Design have alwaysbeen encouraged to pursue an overall development and theirparticipation in ramp shows, provides them with the invaluableopportunity of actually walkin the ramp, which would otherwisehave remained a remote possibility. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Application for admission to this Institute should be made only on theprescribed form, which is attached at the end of the Prospectus.

Application form must be accompanied with the following:

a. Admission and Registration Fee.

b. Tuition Fee of the necessary course.

c. The fee can be paid either by cash or demand draft from anybank payable at Hyderabad favouring HAMSTECH Institute ofFashion & Interior Design.

d. Attested copies of all necessary certificates.

e. Four passport size photographs.

f. In addition to the fees paid to the institute, the student has topay the Examination and recognition fees to the respectiveBoard /University as and when required.

32Regulations

The relevant entire fee or the first installment, along with othercharges mentioned in the Prospectus is payable at the time ofadmission. The balance installments should be paid before thedue date.

The Institute does not accept responsibility for the eligibility ofa student for any exam or his/her acceptance as a candidateby any examining body due to non - compliance of rules and/or non submission of documents/exam fees and for non-fulfillment of the Board and University regulations. Accordingly,the candidate is advised to check his/her eligibility asmentioned in the earlier pages of the Prospectus beforeapplying for the admission.

In the event of last date of admissions being over, theManagement of the Institute reserves the right to transfer thecandidate to the next academic year.

Fees once paid will under no circumstances be refunded oradjusted to any other course or any other student.

A minimum of 75% attendence is a must to appear for the finalexamination.
