Multi-Storey Car Park Site You may have noced new signage appearing on the hoarding surrounding the construcon site for the new mul-storey car park along Instute and Darcy road. For many commuters, visitors and precinct staff this represents the first highly visible piece of construcon work being undertaken as a part the Westmead Redevelopment. It is in this high traffic zone that we will begin to see the new building being built level by level between now and mid-2017. Once completed, the new mul-storey structure will represent a significant milestone for the Westmead Redevelopment Project as the first major increase in car parking for staff and visitors at Westmead. The new facility will consist of eight levels and provide 1250 car spaces. The new mul-storey car park is just one element of the $72 million which has been commied for car parking at Westmead. This includes a new modern car park management system for the precinct, addional on grade parking, beer security, improved lighng, footpaths and CCTV. We want to remind all staff that these works are occurring in a high congeson area adjacent to mulple pedestrian routes and vehicular access roads so please remain alert and exercise cauon when in the vicinity. The Westmead Redevelopment Redevelopment team are working hard to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors. As always, if you have any quesons or wish to report any issues, please contact us on 1800 990 296 or email us at: [email protected]
