MOTIVATION1. Show the students a

quotation about life and dreams and let them reflect on it.

2. Show the picture of Abraham Lincoln and discuss to them how he was able to fulfill his dreams despite of his humble

beginnings. DISCUSSION AND

ANALYSISI. Introduction Ask

the students about their dreams in life and how do they plan to achieve them. Unlock the familiar words in the poem.

II. Interaction Let them recite the poem altogether.

Explain the virtues in the poem right after they have recited each stanza.

Point out the example of the figure of speech in the poem.

III. IntegrationDivide the class into eight groups. Assign a stanza to each group then give a cut-out of the spider web then tell them to write the desira-

ble traits which are referred in the stanza.

Post the cut-out on the board and then call for each group to talk about their output.
