The Procrastinator is a lamp for whom embrace being easily distracted. While its functionality is producing light, the procrastinator is dominantly an object to occupy time.

Consisting of four components, the procrastinator can be self actuated, or engaged by the user. The large component, holding the fiber optic fibers, houses the actual LEDS. The three smaller components control the intensities and dominant color of the light being emitted from the base. The variation of light is determined by proximity to the base, the varying velocities and assembly of the four components. The performance of the three smaller components can also be varied based on the multiple track configurations.

The primary attraction of the lamp is how the four components interact with each other. However, the three smaller components operate independently and can function as task lighting.

Placed on any flat surface, The Procrastinator has the potential to distract from 30 seconds, to hours.
