As the availability of fresh water decreases and the world population increases, we can promote production of more
sustainable crops that require much less water.
PrOatinaTM (Nude oats)
• Contains ~20% protein which eclipses the protein content of both rice and wheat. Increased protein will help alleviate malnutrition and improve growth and development in the world’s poorest populations.
• Does not contain gluten making this a safe alternative for gluten sensitive individuals.
• Production is sustainable in a drier world. Oats are a dryland crop and require significantly less input (water and pesticides) than rice. Oats yields respond to adequate spring and summer moisture, but they do not require flooding or excess irrigation.
