eATMS SoS URD v2.0

General

Audit Audit is a systematic, independent and documented process for obtaining audit evidence and evaluating it objectively to determine the extent to which audit criteria are fulfilled. When two or more management systems are audited together, this is termed a combined audit. When two or more auditing organizations cooperate to audit a single auditee, this is termed a joint audit.

ISO 9000 - 2005 Quality

Audit Plan Description of the activities and arrangements for an audit

ISO 9000 - 2005 Quality

Automatic Co-ordination

[Refer to Automatic Standard Co-ordination] CoFlight project FDP

Automatic Standard Co-ordination

For external transfers standard conditions apply where the flight satisfies criteria specified in a Letter of Agreement between the ATSU’s concerned. For internal transfers between responsibilities the standard conditions are specified internally, in Unit Operating Procedures. Under standard conditions the transfer of responsibility can be effected without the intervention of the giving or receiving controllers. Adherence to the standard conditions ensures a conflict free transition through the associated airspace.

useful for presenting requirements. An external capability specifies from the outside a value-added set of services the system provides to its users without revealing the internal structure of the system. The realisation of an external capability involves the participation of number of actors in interaction with the system. An internal capability is not visible from the outside but is necessary to group related requirements.

Data Category The Data Categories are the items of the off-line data model that bear the data exploitation attributes like access rights or exploitation level. For instance the significant points form a data category. For each data category allowing multi-instances an identifier shall be defined allowing to identify each instance of this data category.

CoFlight project

to a flight plan and controlled by owner sector (first assumption of control already performed)

• Nearby: Tracks correlated to a flight plan and controlled by other sectors

• Handover: Tracks correlated to a flight plan and under control transfer between two adjacent sectors.

• Notified: Tracks, correlated to a flight plan, previously controlled by the sector but now transferred to the next one. They will become nearby later.

• Skipped: Tracks, correlated to a flight plan, for which the sector is in trajectory but it has been excluded by the control chain by a skip order performed by a controller sector.

• Decorrelated Tracks: tracks in correlation lost status.

Trajectory Vertical and horizontal profile over time that the flight is expected to follow. It is computed from data including the current 4D position of the flight (if airborne), the flight script, the airspace data, the meteorological data etc. Conceptually a trajectory may be considered to contain a set of timed points on the route, together with the flight level or altitude over these points, which describe the most probable profile of the flight. It shall be possible to determine the ETO, altitude or flight level, and rate of climb or descent at any position on the route of flight which include: - all significant points over which the trajectory passes - points at which the flight is to manoeuvre. - points at which the trajectory penetrates defined volumes of airspace

Warning A notification generated by the system. It can signify an error, an unusual or non-standard condition or a notification of an input (e.g. from TECHSUP/ OPSUP). They are generated for SFPLs, environment data, system parameters or events occurring on supervised objects. The final addressee of a warning is an OE. A warning can also be used to send a “free text message” to another OE.

eATMS SoS URD v2.0

HMI

Warning Time The amount of time between the first indication of an alert to the controller and the predicted violation of the applicable separation minima. Note: The achieved warning time depends on the geometry of the situation. Note: The maximum warning time may be constrained in order to keep the number of nuisance alerts below an acceptable threshold.
