Conventional

Conventional drainage systems use a gravity waste to drain excess water during rising.As the clean water is lighter than the dirty water in the tank, it fl oats on top of this and around 35% is discharged directly into the drain and not in the tank.The EDT system uses a pump to drain excess water from the bottom of the tank, where it is dirtier, prior to the start of rinsing, without wasting a drop of water. The water in the tank is cleaner, permitting use of a lower concentration of detergent.

Elettrobar Wash Technology

Most losses of power occur at the diverter that separates the water directed towards the upper arm from that routed to the lower arm. Elettrobar’s simple, genial patented EWT solution eliminates the diverter and has promoted development of an exclusive dual fl ow, double outlet pump connected directly to the arms.

Power loss is eliminated, with a consequent reduction in pump power, i.e. lower consumption with the same washing effi ciency.The light, strong composite material high-tech arm absorbs less energy for rotation and guarantees optimal distribution of water.

Elettrobar Drain System

Conventional drainage systems use a gravity waste to drain excess water during rising.As the clean water is lighter than the dirty water in the tank, it fl oats on top of this and around 35% is discharged directly into the drain and not in the tank.The EDS system exploits the principle of Archimedes according to which the clean intake water used for rinsing exerts a “piston” effect that pushes the dirty water from the bottom of the tank to the gravity waste. In this way, only 17% of the clean water is drained directly, food soil in the tank is cleaner and a lower concentration of detergent can be used.

Elettrobar Screen InterfaceStandard on the River range

Easy to use, reliable and complete, with four soft touch keys and a large backlit polychromatic LCD display. Unlike other dishwashers on the market, it is not just a button; the entire screen changes colour according to the operating status of the machine and the current stage of the wash cycle; this makes it easy to read and interpret even from a distance. In addition to the operating parameters, such as the temperatures

of the tub and boiler or the number of cycles performed, the indications provided by the automatic diagnosis system are also displayed. Information is provided in the form of clear text and icons. The user can adjust the tub and boiler temperatures and the detergent and rinse aid dosing, while our specialised technicians can modify all the other operating parameters of the machine.

ProNewRecommended when you wish to wash with a total change of water in the washing tub, so suitable for consecutive washes of particularly greasy and dirty dishes. The complete change of the water in the tub requires a longer wash cycle.

ProLong (continuous)This is an extended cycle; the duration varies according to the model. The cycle duration may be varied as required by pressing START any time during the wash, to interrupt the washing phase and start the rinse phase.

ProGlass (glasses)Glass washing programme for dishwashers. Suited for washing glasses of any shape or type. Washes with a low rinse temperature (requires a long drying time).

ProColdSpecifi c programme for cold water rinse after normal hot water rinse.

ProWaterSpecifi c cycle for washing glasses with pure water obtained through osmosis. Designed to operate with the reverse osmosis fi lter WS140. All the operating parameters are modifi ed to obtain the best possible result on the glassware.

ProActiveThe Intensive programme is suited for washing very dirty, even encrusted dishes that have been left for some time. The programme includes 2 washes and 2 rinses.

ProSteel (cutlery)The cutlery wash programme is suited for washing forks, spoons, knives and all sorts of other cutlery. This wash programme is longer than the others.

ProSan (sanitising)Recommended when the dishes to be washed also have to be sanitised. This programme controls the wash temperature and washing time, calculating the constant A0. The programme ends when the A0 value equals 30. The length of the programme is variable, but is generally around 20 minutes and the wash temperature reaches approximately 70 C°.

ProPlatesSpecifi c cycle for plates, with rinsing reduced by 17% with water at optimum temperature of 78°C.

Easy to use, reliable and complete, with four soft touch keys and a 4-character LED display with two lateral indicator bars.Carefully chosen combinations of colours and graphic symbols provide a clear indication of the dishwasher status and wash cycle progress at a glance. In addition to the operating parameters, such as the temperature of the tub and boiler or the number of cycles completed, the indications provided by the automatic diagnosis system are also displayed.

The information is provided in the form of codes, text, or graphic indicators and colours. It is possible to adjust the tub and boiler temperatures, the dosing of detergent and rinse aid, while our specialised technicians can modify all the operating parameters of the machine

EHW powered heating systemElettrobar Hot Wash

System with independent heating elements. Generally the tub and boiler heating elements operate alternately, with priority given to the boiler for reasons of hygiene, this means that in consecutive cycles the tub is not heated and its temperature falls rapidly, compromising washing results. With the HotWash system, electrical power is divided between the two elements so as to allow heating of the tub even in the case of numerous consecutive cycles.The result, compared with a machine with interlocked heating elements, is that the temperature is around 10 degrees higher during repeated wash cycles: this allows a shorter wash time, a shorter drying time, because the plates are hotter, and a lower detergent concentration with consequent cost savings.

Elettrobar Rinse Technology

With the ERT rinse system, no cold water is fed into boiler during the rinse phase. Unlike conventional systems where temperature may drop by more than 20 °C, water temperature remains constant, thus permitting washing at a lower temperature.

The pump, during suction, delivers constant pressure while rate of fl ow is guaranteed by water supply via break tank.All these factors promote a considerable reduction in consumption.

Electronically-regulated peristaltic rinse aid and detergent dispensers. Optional probes for monitoring the level of chemical products with alert on electronic display.

The control system permits direct setting of the amount dispensed on the display.Sensors to indicate chemical product low condition, with alert on the control panel (level switch) can also be included.

ECS water softenerElettrobar Continue Softener

The ECS built-in water softener guarantees completely auto-matic, user-transparent regeneration during each wash cycle.ECS protects dishwashers from damage caused by scale bu-ildup without occupying additional kitchen space and elimina-ting the need for regeneration which may take tens of minutes.

Another advantage is constant water quality as opposed to conventional softeners where water quality tends to down-grade with saturation of the resins. The device is electronically controlled and a message alerts the user to top up the salt.ECS permits use of specifi c detergents for soft water which are less aggressive and less expensive than those for hard water.

ELS hood lift systemElettrobar Lift System

The newly-designed smooth lift system reduces lifting force to a mere 3 kg and prevents sticking if the handle is grasped to the side.

This reduces staff fatigue and promotes higher productivity.The hood is of the double wall insulated type.

Elettrobar Clean Construction

Elettrobar products are designed in such a way as to eliminate points where food soil may accumulate; tanks, inside doors and rack guides are deep drawn and specifi cally profi led to fa-cilitate drainage of impurities; vertical edges are also rounded.Wash tank components have been reduced to a minimum.

Wash and rinse water hoses are housed in the thickness of the double wall. Coarser particles are trapped by the built-in tank fi lters. The more advanced undercounter, hood and pan washer versions are equipped with a self-clean cycle.

springs and sealing system with labyrinth and gasket, both patented.

NRG heat recovery system

To be combined with hood type dishwashers, extracts steam after rinsing and condenses this; the heat recovered increases inlet water temperature by 25 °C. Promotes a healthier wor-king environment and also considerable energy saving through

a 30% reduction in the heat gradient generated by the boiler in rinse water. Use of this system also eliminates the need to install an external extraction hood. The entire process, which is fully automatic, lasts just 30”.

Our entire range utilises constructional solutions designed to limit heat dispersion, to control the fl ow of heat through structural elements and to maintain constant internal temperatures.This translates into signifi cant savings in energy costs.

All our dishwashers are prevalently of double-skin construction, the only exceptions being the side walls on built-in models and hoods on pass-through models. The ProMont system allows on-the-spot division of the machine into the various elements of which it is made up in order to permit passage through narrow doors or corridors and then easy and safe re-assembly.

Design concept aimed at facilitating cleaning at shift end: wash chambers without internal piping, moulded tanks, double and triple water fi ltering systems with concentration elements and waste collection

Increased by 15% with respect to the previous generation; it also allows to wash very tall objects, trays, containers and utensils.

The fi lter is made up from a fl at surface that tilts towards the outside, thus to facilitate the running of solid waste collected and from a basket into which the waste fl ows; positioned in a way that it can be easily accessed by the operator and emptied in just a few seconds.

Reduces heat dispersion and noise; the doors have a double wall with insulation.

It uses a combination of tank fi lters and drawer fi lters in steel, present in every tank, for progressive fi ltering of the wash water, from where all of the particles with diameter exceeding 1 mm are eliminated. The drawer fi lters can be extracted for emptying without opening the washing module door. An additional safety water fi lter is present on the extraction of each individual pump.

Measuring 820 mm in length, it has a 70 l tank and a washing system with 3 arms and 36 nozzles with 1500 W double outlet pump. Triple water fi ltering and full-width door for easier cleaning.

Thanks to this patent, Elettrobar has been able to eliminate division of the pressurised fl ow downstream from the wash pump, thus obtaining higher effi ciency, fewer pressure drops and lower noise. A DuoFlow pump is the same as a traditional pump with approx. 35% higher power.

Measuring 1150 mm in length, it has a 70 l tank and a washing system with 5 arms and 60 nozzles with 2700 W double outlet pump. Temperature management system with electronically-controlled water heating and cooling. Triple water fi ltering and full-width door for easier cleaning.

It uses an inverter to check the power supply frequency of the baskets drive motor, in order to realise any production between 50 and 300 baskets/hour. In the case of breakdown, the inverter can be by-passed; the dishwasher operates at just one speed.

It allows variation of the amount of rinse water depending on dishwasher production. Depending on the washing program selected, it allows a saving in water consumption of up to 25%.

It requires that the water supply feed pressure is constantly between 2 and 4 bar dynamic; if the pressure varies outside of this range, it is essential to install a pressure reducer with pressure gauge (optional) or a pressure increase pump.

With respect to the ProPortional system, it allows variation not only of the fl ow rate depending on the speed, but also the allocation of the rinse between the upper and lower arm. In this way, unnecessary spraying of water from below if plates are being washed, or from above if glasses are being washed, is avoided. This means the saving of water consumption can reach 40%. The system manages two completely separate circuits, starting from a twin boiler with double heat recovery device, each with a ProPortional device for fl ow variation.

It uses a 200 W rinsing pump to guarantee the pressure and fl ow rate of rinsing whatever the supply conditions of the water network. Feeding at the boiler takes place through a “break tank” anti-pollution device, which is type-approved in compliance with the English WRAS regulation.

It is housed in the built-in rinse and dry module and includes a 15 cm dripping area. It operates at low temperature (65 °C) for delicate action on the tableware; it uses a high air fl ow rate (1400 m3/hr) withdrawn from outside the machine and therefore relatively dry, moved by a high power turbo fan (550 W). The air is introduced through two upper slots and pushed upwards by a fl ow diverter fi xed to the bottom of the module. The dryer has a hatch to facilitate cleaning at the end of the day.

It uses the latent heat of evaporation contained in the saturated vapour present inside the dishwasher, making it condense and thus heating the cold water directed towards the boiler by approx. 25°C. Depending on the models and programs selected, the energy saving can reach 8 kWh/hour of operation. It uses 2 aluminium/copper heat exchangers, each with a surface area of 25 m2, along with a 200 W turbo fan.

An overpressure generated in the drying area and a negative pressure generated by the ProHeat recovery fan mean that the heated vapour formed in rinsing moves through the machine in the opposite direction to the advancement of the plates, thus heating the colder modules and the tableware.

It uses a full touch multifunction screen and two multifunction capacitive keys to program the machine functions, to provide detailed information regarding the status and the operating parameters, select the programs and show error messages. It can be easily connected to the optional remote communication module.

It is housed in a cantilever module measuring 600 mm, realised with a double wall. Each individual module (pre-wash, wash, rinse, drying) is switched-on/off independently from the others only if it contains a basket to wash; it is a system that greatly improves energy effi ciency in the case of intermittent work. The position of the baskets is detected by a reliable electro-mechanical sensor. It also acts as a rinse economizer and autotimer.

Thanks to the specialised washing programs (up to four) with different temperatures and specifi c consumption. The large span of 45 cm allows tins, trays and cumbersome objects to be washed. The consumption adaptation systems mean that not only effectiveness but also washing effi ciency are not changed when the programs vary. The single tank machines have reversible advancement with just a few simple operations without the necessity for additional parts.

Thanks to the simple and intuitive control system with digital interface and LED screen to view the programs, temperatures, operating parameters, self-diagnosis system messages. When present, the detergent and rinse aid dosing devices can be adjusted via software.

Thanks to the newly designed rinse system with arms in advanced design composite material, which allows a substantial reductions in the consumption of water, energy and detergent. The Niagara 412 models have the ProRinse system with rinse pump and standard break tank supply, which allows specifi c consumption to drop to just 1 l per basket. The reverse osmosis device can be considered the most effi cient water treatment option available on the market. The WS140 device is designed for industrial dishwashers: it is compact, has an hourly capacity of 120 l/h and also features external prefi ltering.

It is extremely effective in eliminating chlorine, impurities and mineral salts contained in inlet water. Its reduced footprint facilitates also horizontal installation. Very simple, cost-effective ordinary maintenance.
