Preventative Medical Services provides services

for the elderly focusing on preventative care. PMS

provides full diabetic and non-diabetic foot care,

deep muscle stimulation, and massage. We will be

holding foot care clinics at the Broken Arrow

Senior Center twice a month. Check calendar for

day and time. A foot care treatment includes a

whirlpool, toe nail trimming, callous and corn

removal, and ingrown toenail removal. PMS is un-

der the direction of Medical Director, Dr. Dan

Langley D.O. Our services are covered by MEDI-

CARE and most THIRD PARTY insurance provid-

ers. Please call 918-739-4767 if you have any

questions.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Our friends at Broken Arrow Neighbors need our help. On

Thursday June 9, we will be collecting goods to help those

Broken Arrow neighbors who are in need. While all food items

are welcome, there are a few hygiene items that are especially

needed. These include: Bar Soap, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste,

Deodorant, Feminine Products, and Diapers. All canned goods,

drink mixes, rice and macaroni are appreciated as well.

You may drop off your items at BASI anytime during the day on

Thursday. If you want to drive up, we will unload it at the front

door.

Your opinion is needed! Please meet with our new Execu-

tive Director, June Ross, on the first Wednesday of each month

from 9:30 to 10:30. Our first meeting is June 1, 2011. We will

meet in the library. The main topic of discussion for this first

meeting will be the upcoming Ice Cream Social. We want that

occasion to be something all of you will enjoy. Come help us

define this event and make it a great one! See you then

The Tulsa Shock (women’s basketball team) will be playing the New York Liberty in the only daytime game of the season. Where else

can you see a 6”8” 19 year old, two WNBA Most Valuable Players, and Olympic champion and Coach Nolan Richardson?

We will leave BASI at 10:30 for the 11:30 game. The cost for the ticket and bus ride is $10.00. Lunch is on your own at the concession
