Three Phases of a Gas Play

The Marcellus – a longer, “unconventional” Play

The Marcellus Life Cycle is different from other gas “plays” we have previously experienced in PA

Traditional “vertical” thinking and economic projections are not relevant in analyzing the Marcellus Life Cycle

Each phase will have a definite beginning and gradual end but there will be much overlap for an extended period of time

Industry estimates that the drilling (production) phase of the Marcellus may last for as long as 75 years!
