*On Oct.23 Mr. Louie Maco was in route to Hong Kong, for a business trip. It was all so very ordinary, until Mr. Maco landed in NAIA for a plan change. As he collected his belongings from the overhead locker, an announcement was made for Mr. Maco to see the NAIA Representative immediately.

*When Mr. Maco got off the plane, his solemn-faced brother -in-law by the name of Rowell came toward him and said what the emergency is or who is involved and give him the telephone number of Perpetual Succour Hospital.

*Mr. Maco called the Perpetual Succour Hospital and was connected to the trauma Center where he learned that his 3-year-old son, Ben, had been trapped underneath the automatic garage door for several minutes and that whenhis wife Mrs. Samantha Maco had found their son dead.

* **By the time of Mr. Maco ‘s call, Ben was revived and they believed he would live, but they did not know how much damage had been done to his brain nor to his heart.

*Mr. Maco took a return flight and immediately went to the ICU where he saw his son laying so still on a great big bed with tubes and monitors everywhere. He also glances to his wife who stood and tried to gave him a reassuring smile because their son, Ben, was going to live and indicated that his son’s heart and brain was OK, two miracles in and of themselves.

* In the days that followed, there was a special spirit about their home because Ben was finally released from the hospital.

* Almost a month later to the day of the accident, Ben awaked from his afternoon nap and told his mother about his sacred and remarkable story when he got stucked under the garage door. He told her mother that there were “birdies” who came when he got stucked and they took care of him. He also told his mother that the were lots of “birdies” and were dressed in white all white and had wings. They also went on a trip far, far away but later on “birdies” told him that he had to come back and tell everyone about the “birdies”. Ben also taught his mother that the “birdies” were always with them, but they don’t see them because they look with their eyes and they don’t hear them because they listen with their ears but they are always there.
