Introduction to Machine

The machine on which the task was given was leak Tester Machine.

It is used to detect the leak in the crankcase engine body.

Introduction to Project

We have been given the task of settling of second controller on the single controller leak tester machine.

Benefit for this will be increase in production and time saving.

Settling of Interface

Interfaces are divided with respect of inputs and outputs. inputs and

outputs are symbolized as: Inputs: X Outputs: YPLCs are placed in the panel and these inputs and outputs are

connected internally to the memory.

Changing In PLC Logic

Firstly we have changed the new X in the logic.

This was done by finding the right handed operation ladders. In that way we have made the right handed operation free from the left controller.

In the ladders for the right hand controller to operate independently we introduced new x in place of left hand controller logic.

In this way now the right hand controller is operate seperately.

Make start and stop ladders for the right hand controller similar to the left hand controller.

Then we copied the left hand controller output for the new controller.

Then we have seen the back end memory if it is related to the left X. It was altered by new right X.

In this way our output is controlled and checked for the right hand controller.

Pneumatic Adjustment

Pneumatic pressure is the air pressure by which our cylinder do the movement up and down.

The output of the controller is set to activate the cylinder according to the plc instructions.

Previously we have one controller working on the 4 cylinders.

We have then separated the two to right one and two to the left one controller.
