Past experience. We don’t know when. It is not a specific time in the past.

An experience that has or hasn’t happened.

Ever and never We can use ever in questions. It

means ‘at a time in your life?’

Have you ever driven more than 100 km?

Has your best friend ever disappointed you?

Ever

NeverWe use never in affirmative sentences. It means ‘at no time in your life’.
