IntroductionEvaluate different sites and generation technologies of distributed energy resources under consideration of technological, economical and ecological criteria.

Concept, Specification and Prototype of an open platform for evaluating, planning and analysing the integration of DER



Objectives

• Interactive and public accessible platform (FOSS) for testing and evaluating DG

• Easy to use – give a preliminary assessment of feasibility in terms of technology, ecology and economy

• Evaluate benefits and cost for integration• Optimize / maximize efficiency in terms of site,

generator, capacity, primary energy usage, coverage of demand and coordinated generation

• Discussion position for stakeholders

Issues and Discussion

• Data: GIS and Power Grid not freely available

• Prototype Status: manually exchange information between modules

• Consider existing standards and interfaces

• Specify program and data interface between modules – „Developer Kit“
