AND TO CONNECT VERBS
State Polytechnic University Carchi since its creation has been growing very rapidly but it has been unfairly situated in a category E belonging to universities with lack of quality in education.
The Government gave another opportunity for these universities provided they improve the quality of education that is why in March the UPEC was subjected to a second and final assessment, however not all universities passed the tests.
The results of these evaluations were announced on April 12, 2012, being the UPEC, which got the best results but 14 universities were closed so that 38 000 000 students according to the state were victims of a scam, however, has created a contingency plan for these students.
The authorities of our university have raised the need for further improvement, so that, in the evaluation of next year, we are located in a category A. our university aspires to be in the near future the best university in our country.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES ABOUT SCHOLARSHIPS
HOMEWORK
WRITE DOWN AN ESSAY IN WHICH YOU MENTION WHAT YOU THINK ARE THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF THE SCHOLARSHIPS THAT HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED BY THE ECUADORIAN GOVERMENT. (SENESCYT)
SENESCYT announced the opening of the 2012 scholarship programs aimed at Ecuadorians who want to study for degrees in third and fourth levels. I think these programs are very good because poor students can now study abroad, no matter that they haven't money, is only important to be very intelligent.
I think one of the main advantages of the scholarship is that all Ecuadorians can follow studied, regardless of economic conditions; another advantage is that I believe that a country develops; only educating its people.
I also think that now if Ecuadorian State is giving the money belongs to education, but it is also important that people, who earn a scholarship student, return the country to contribute with their knowledge to local students.
I believe that there are no disadvantages but if the government does not give specializations agricultural, people will leave the field, and then there won't be food for people.
To finish my homework I think the scholarship is the best that the Ecuadorian government has thought, because I believe that in a few years, Ecuadorians have a better life.

The next day we went to Pedernales and stayed at a beautiful hotel called Palma Seca, first we went to eat at a restaurant but my son wouldn’t eat because he was playing on the beach, in these beautiful beaches we were only one day because we didn’t have
much money. What most enjoyed on these beaches was building sandcastles with my son.
The next day while we are returning to Tulcan, called me my aunt who lives in Chone, and for this reason we went to visit her, then we went to visit a great zoo, we were very happy because there were many exotic animals.

RESEARCH ABOUT CONDITIONALS
RESEACRH NUMBER 1 (CONDITIONALS)
TASKS OF THE THIRD
SET
English learners should study conditional forms to speak about past, present and future situations that depend on other events happening. There are four forms of the conditional in English. In general, conditional sentences have the word "if".
Note that there is no conditional tense for the English and available in Spanish. At the same time, use the auxiliary verb "would" to form the conditional in English.
CONDITIONAL TYPES
Zero Conditional (Type 0)
Using this type of condition is when the condition and the result is always true, such as scientific facts.
IF Condition ResultIf. Present simple Present simple
Examples:
If you heat water to 100° C, it boils. / Water boils if you heat it to 100° C.
If I don't practice the piano everyday I play poorly. / I play the piano poorly if I don't practice everyday.
Does your mom get mad if you don't call her? / If you don't call your mom, does she get mad?
Note: We can change the order of the sentences without changing the meaning. Also, in general this type of conditional, we can replace "if" to "when" without altering the meaning.
First Conditional (Type 1)
This type of conditional uses: for the future and in cases where it is likely that the condition will pass.
IF Condition ResultIf. Present simple Future simple ("will")
Examples:
If Bill studies, he will pass the exam. / Bill will pass the exam if he studies.
If it doesn't rain, we will go to the beach. / We will go to the beach if it doesn't rain.
Will you take the train if you miss the bus? / If you miss the bus, will you take the train?
NOTE: You can use some modal verbs instead of "will" to change the likelihood or express an opinion. For more information, see the lesson on modal verbs.
Examples:
If it doesn't rain, we may go to the beach. If it doesn't rain we should go to the beach. If it doesn't rain we can go to the beach.
Second Conditional (Type 2)
Type 2 is used to express an unreal possibility in the present, as a wish or a dream, or for an action in the future not as likely.
IF Condition ResultIf. Past simple "Would" + infinitive
Examples:
If I won the lottery, I would travel around the world. / I would travel around the world if I won the lottery.
If Rachel had more time, she would learn to play the guitar. / Rachel would learn to play the guitar if she had more time.
Would you be happy if you were to get married? / If you were to get married, would you be happy?
Note: As in type 1, you can use other modal verbs instead of "would" to change the meaning and possibility.
Third Conditional (Type 3)
In contrast to types 1 and 2, we use the third type of conditional when talking about a condition in the past that has not happened.
IF Condition ResultIf. Past perfect "Would have" + past participle
Examples:
If I had known, then what I know now, I would have done things differently. / I would have done things differently if I had known then what I know now
Suzanne wouldn't have had the heart attack if she had gone on a diet as her doctor recommended. / If Suzanne had gone on a diet as her doctor recommended she wouldn't have had the heart attack.
Would you have liked to go to university if you had been able to afford it? / If you had been able to afford it, would you have liked to go to university?
Note: As the types 1 and 2, you can use other modal verbs instead of "would" to change the meaning and probability.
MY FUTURE
I imagine a very good future for me and my family, because I believe that in two years, I’ll graduate at the university and then I think I’ll have a very good job, and for this reason, I’ll have lots of money, and I’ll actually many dreams.
if all you plan to, I get it, I may give my son a good education in the best universities in the world, that my son follow in my footsteps, but I also want my wife has her own beauty parlor, but I also like that my wife has her own beauty salon, and also able to realize his dream of study in University.
if all these things come true, I'd be the happiest man in the world because I think my family is more important to me, well if I had a lot of money, I could help poor children and the elderly, If I study hard I'm sure this will come true.
CONDITIONAL SITUATIONS
HOMEWORK
I study in the university and I have a teacher who is very demanding on punctuality, when we arrived late, my teacher doesn’t make us come to the classroom and also, if I don’t do the task, the engineer
University of Cambridge in the UK
Mora, doesn’t take me my final exam, Most students lose the semester with this teacher.
I am very happy in the university because I have many friends, my best friend Diego invited me to a party on Saturday but if it rains I'll stay in my house, Diego also tells me that there's a party in the university next week, but when you take alcohol, loses his mind and often fight with people, for this reason I tell him not to go to the party because if you have problems the university probably fails the semester.
Finally I believe that when a person has problems all her life goes wrong, because people do not want troublemakers in their companies, therefore, I am worried about my friend Diego, I'm sure with this behavior he will have many problems in the future.
WORKING IN TEAMS
HOMEWORK
I think that our authorities believe that teamwork is good, because, always organizing this work as a team, for example: Seminars, where teachers have to work together to make this event goes well,
also, the university is organized, open houses scientists, students and teachers here must work together, to do well these important events.
ADVANTAGES OF TEAMWORK
I believe that teamwork has more advantages than disadvantages; I think the main advantages are the following:
Teamwork has more information than any of its members separately, therefore always learn new things; I also believe that group work allows different points of view when making a decision. This enriches the work, and minimizes frustrations.
I think the teamwork we get better results than any individual work, and also team members achieve greater motivation. The fact of being part of a team member makes to increase their motivation to work, generally, all group work, have greater acceptance by group members because they have all actively participated.
DISADVANTAGES OF TEAMWORK:
The main disadvantages of working in university group are:
Often work in groups bring discomfort, because usually not all members of the team, help make the work, for this reason the
members that if they work, they feel very unhappy, is also very difficult to find acceptance by all decisions made in group work.
Also another disadvantage is the lack of cooperation from members of the team to go to meetings, this occurs when there is a leader in the team.
Finally differences in ways of thinking can lead to arguments that divide the group.
COMMENT:
I believe that the university had the best result in the assessment for the good teamwork that has been done, and our authorities need to continue working together to continue to have successes
TASKS OF THE
FOURTH
WRITE AN ESSAY
PRACTICES IN THE LABORATORIES OF THE UPEC
The UPEC has many laboratories, with much technological equipment, In these last six months, the authorities of our university, have given more money to equip laboratories, especially in our career, For this reason we students of EDIA, now are doing many practices in the laboratories.
With the help of these laboratories all students of EDIA, we have many advantages but the main one is that we can apply the
TASKS OF THE
FOURTH
knowledge in the laboratories that we learn in classroom and also we learn to properly handle laboratory equipment Thanks to these advances, that our university has had, we the students of our career, we will be competent professionals.
The implementation of these laboratories also has some disadvantages, such as students have shown that even are not prepared for this technology and are not aware of how important laboratories and therefore break the lab materials.
In conclusion, when our university authorities help us, implementing the laboratories, students can learn many things we can’t learn in the classroom, because our career needs of many practices, we students of the EDIA need, "learning by doing", first we learn in the field but also need laboratories to process the food we grow on land.
RESEARCH ABOUT PASSIVE VOCIE
Passive Voice
Use of Passive
Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known; however, who or what is performing the action.
Example: My bike was stolen.
In the example above, the focus is on the fact that my bike was stolen. I do not know, however, who did it.
Sometimes a statement in passive is more polite than active voice, as the following example shows:
Example: A mistake was made.
In this case, I focus on the fact that a mistake was made, but I do not blame anyone (e.g. you have made a mistake.).
Form of Passive
Subject + finite form of to be + Past Participle (3rd column of irregular verbs)
Example: A letter was written.
When rewriting active sentences in passive voice, note the following:
the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence
the finite form of the verb is changed (to be + past participle)
the subject of the active sentence becomes the object of the passive sentence (or is dropped)
Examples of Passive
Tense Subject Verb Object
Simple Present
Active: Ritawrites a letter.
Passive: A letter is written by Rita.
Simple Past Active: Rita wrote a letter.
Passive: A letter was written by Rita.
Present Perfect
Active: Rita has written a letter.
Passive: A letter has been written by Rita.
Future I Active: Rita will write a letter.
Passive: A letter will be written by Rita.
Hilfsverben Active: Rita can write a letter.
Passive: A letter can be written by Rita.
Examples of Passive
Tense Subject Verb Object
Present Progressive
Active: Ritais writing a letter.
Passive: A letter is being written by Rita.
Past Progressive
Active: Rita was writing a letter.
Passive: A letter was being written by Rita.
Past Perfect Active: Rita had written a letter.
Passive: A letter had been written by Rita.
Future II Active: Rita will have written a letter.
Passive: A letter will have been written by Rita.
Conditional I Active: Rita would write a letter.
Passive: A letter would be written by Rita.
Conditional II Active: Rita would have written a letter.
Passive: A letter would have been written by Rita.
Passive Sentences with Two Objects
Rewriting an active sentence with two objects in passive voice means that one of the two objects becomes the subject, the other one remains an object. Which object to transform into a subject depends on what you want to put the focus on.
Subject Verb Object 1 Object 2
Active: Ritawrote a letter to me.
Passive: A letter was written to me by Rita.
Passive: I was written a letter by Rita.
.
As you can see in the examples, adding by Rita does not sound very elegant. That’s why it is usually dropped.
Personal and Impersonal Passive
Personal Passive simply means that the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence. So every verb that needs an object (transitive verb) can form a personal passive.
Example: They build houses. – Houses are built.
Verbs without an object (intransitive verb) normally cannot form a personal passive sentence (as there is no object that can become the subject of the passive sentence). If you want to use an intransitive verb in passive voice, you need an impersonal construction – therefore this passive is called Impersonal Passive.
Example: he says – it is said
Impersonal Passive is not as common in English as in some other languages (e.g. German, Latin). In English, Impersonal Passive is only possible with verbs of perception (e. g. say, think, know).
Example: They say that women live longer than men. – It is said that women live longer than men.
Although Impersonal Passive is possible here, Personal Passive is more common.
Example: They say that women live longer than men. – Women are said to live longer than men.
The subject of the subordinate clause (women) goes to the beginning of the sentence; the verb of perception is put into passive voice. The rest of the sentence is added using an infinitive construction with 'to' (certain auxiliary verbs and that are dropped).
Sometimes the term Personal Passive is used in English lessons if the indirect object of an active sentence is to become the subject of the passive sentence.
ROOM PROJECT
ROOM PROJECT:
Hello teacher and partners….
In the room project, I am going to talk about the importance of field practice in our career.
I think our race is very important to the practice field, it is necessary to obtain more knowledge, I think when I am a professional I need to solve the field problems of farmers in our province, because that is how you gain the confidence of farmers.
Thanks to the farms that the university has, to the practices of field is very easy to make, for example in the San Francisco farm we sow many crops that are cold climate, such as: potatoes, corn, carrots, green onions, wheat, radish, cabbage, etc.
The university also has a farm in the parish of "Conception", this is the route to "San Lorenzo", in this beautiful farm we plant many crops of warm weather, For example, watermelon, peach, lemon, orange, lime, tomato, melon, etc.
