INTRODUCTION
The primary focus of this website has always been that of
providinginformation concerning the foundations and basics of Rife
Technology inthe sincere hopes the user/experimenter/investigator
will be encouragedto explore further and even help develop the
technologies.
I, like so many other persons got started with the basic
"Blaster5"program. While it was certainly easy to use .. it was
limited but the pricewas definitely right. (free).
Over the next few articles we shall attempt to suggest various
method bywhich even the most novice of users can participate,
construct, andeducate ourselves with handson experience, in this
remarkable if notsuppressed science.
Don't let the general (tongueincheek) title "Poor Man's Rife"
fool you. Even though we are going to work on an "empty pocket
budget" ... weshould come up with a working device that will rival
devices sold for oneto several thousand dollars. [Unfortunately it
is true but by the time youget thru this series of articles ... you
will understand enough about thetechnology that you shouldn't EVER
get "burned" on any product youeventually decided to purchase or
build.]
Anyway ..... keep watching this website for changes and
additions. I hopeyou enjoy the information I provide here as much
as I do putting ittogether.

POVERTY THE INSPIRATION OF INNOVATIONAND
RESOURCEFULNESSSometimes "lacking funds" can be the inspiration
that is needed to find"innovative" ways to accomplish your tasks.
Rather than do without, Isearched for tools to accomplish what I
wanted to do as well as help someothers that I knew were looking in
the same direction with the same"financial limitations". I had but
3 criteria when I began.
FIRST ... it had to be FREE ! SECOND ... it had to be EASY !
(both to install AND operate) THIRD ... it needed to be able to use
just about any sound card.
I believe I succeeded in solving MY immediate needs .. and I
hope it maybe either the solution or at least the inspiration you
need to help with yourspecific RIFE project.

(selecticon to
download)
DOWNLOADS
First I decided on 2 pieces of software. There were manyreasons
for selection of these 2 particular pieces but themain reasons were
that they were FREEWARE rather thanShareware. I selected NCH Tone
Generator (by NCHSwiftSound www.nch.com.au )WinAmp (by NullSoft,
Inc. www.winamp.com )
Both pieces of software are readily available for downloadfrom
either my site or almost ANY shareware/freewarearchive. Get them
both and install them. (As you will seethe files are relatively
small ... installation is quick and veryeasy !!!)
FREQUENCY LIST
As long as you are in downloading mode .... get yourself a copy
of BrianMcInturff's "Big List" more often referred to as "The
ConsolidatedAnnotated Frequency List" or just
"CAFL".http://www.mindspring.com/~turf/alt/elec/cfl.htm or he has
other listsand links
athttp://www.mindspring.com/~turf/alt/elec/freqlist.htm(There are
other lists out there ... these just seem to be MY favorites.)
-
Either view his "big list" online or on a downloaded/local copy
on yourmachine. Select your "affliction de jour" ... for example I
have selected"Rheumatoid Arthritis".
"Arthritis, rheumatoid (Cause could be bacteria like
chlamydiapneumonia, mycoplasma fermentans, or dental bacteria which
mustbe addressed too. Also try General antiseptic and
Parasitesroundworms general if no response.) 250, 1.2, 650, 625,
600, 787,727, 262, 776"
With your target frequency,(250), entered in the appropriatebox,
select "Save As". A box willpop up prompting with afilename and
duration inseconds. the default namingnotation will be something
like"sq250.wav". I use the default10 seconds.
TONE GENERATOR
Using the NCH Tone Generator Softwarewe will generate a small
wave file for eachof these frequencies. Our first frequencywill be
"250". Make sure you set the"Wave Form" selector to "Square
Wave".
Note: The Tone generator program will allow you to enter the
frequency tobe generated to three decimal places. Since periods are
not typicallyallowed within the windows filename, I recommend
substituting a "" or "_"in its place so that you maintain an
accurate record of your recording.
Go ahead and record your other frequencies as well. I
constructed a foldernamed "RArthtitis" and dragged ALL of the WAV
files over into that folder.I recommend making a separate folder
for each "affliction" you intend toexperiment with. These folders
can be placed in any logical place you wishand you can close all
these windows and programs down.
-
Once you have the frequencies recorded like this, you need only
use theTone Generator program to build new wave files.
As you should be able to see now .. you have your generated
frequenciesrecorded in a digital format that is easy to play, copy,
manipulate, evenrecord to audio (or data) CD, cassette tape, MP3
players .... yourimagination is the limit ! ..... but for now .. we
are going to just "play" themon our sound card !
PLAYING THESOUND
Open the WinAmpapplication you installedearlier. Select
"ADD"(bottom left), then "ADDDIR", ...select your"affliction
folder" and then"OK".
-
You are now ready to press the PLAYIcon (>) on the top
module.
DO IT !!!!
I think you will quickly see the feature rich versatility of
this little program, allowing you to add folders, individual files,
sort, etc. You can repeatindefinitely, play randomly, manipulate
and arrange to your hearts content... or do nothing at all. Let
your own imagination and unique personal needsbe your BEST GUIDE to
using this program
NEXT ............ LETS ***DO*** SOMETHING WITHTHIS SOUND !
(coming soon !!!)

STILL IN WORK
Part 2by Jimmie Holman
Now that we have a reasonably accurate method of frequency
generationestablished .. we now need some method of applying or
introducingthose selected signals to their targets.
In most cases, the quickest and easiest method to accomplish
this is by acontact pad method.
As we know from reading elsewhere on this website,
FrequencyGeneration can come from a number of reliable sources.
This can besupplied via offtheshelf electronic function generators
(lab and testequipment variety varying in price from a few hundred
to many thousanddollars. There are units specifically designed toy
drive the BareRifeplasma type devices starting in the $2 400 range.
The commerciallyavailable padtype devices are little more than a
relatively inexpensivefrequency/function generator that is
programable with some don't of "paddriver" hopefully built in.
The device here is a commerciallyavailable unit which typically
hassold under many different namesfor prices generally easily in
excessof $1000. While in my personalopinion the price is NOT
justified, itis not the purpose of this article tomake critical
comparisons ordebate merits. However it IS ourgoal to assemble and
understandhow these units work and constructa unit which will
functionally matchor exceed the capabilities of thesetype units.
.... and we are still goingto attempt this on our "emptybucket"
budget
We have taken care of the SIGNAL issue in Part ONE and kept
withinour budget using our personal compute to provide the
programability, storage, and graphical interface found in the very
best of commercialgenerators. Our next step will to build a cable
set for part 3. of ourdiagram below
1. SIGNAL >>> 2. AMPLIFIER >>> 3. CONTACT
PADS
The marketed units typically have had pieces of cooper pipe you
use ashandholds, or metal plates to use as footpads ... even
aluminum trayswith water to place your feet in, or pieces of
moistened terry cloth over a
-
small metallic plate to act as the contact pads. In most of
these casesyou could simply clip your wires with the use of simple
alligator clips. While these methods technically will allow a
conductive circuit andcontact to be made, it certainly is a testate
to innovation and hints whatcan be done in a tight.
It is HIGHLY suggested that we substitute purchased reusable
adhesiveelectrode pads for the above alternatives. Pad technology
is quite goodand conductivity has proven to be far more effective
than the alternativeslisted above. I have read that electrical
transfer is approximately 10 timesthat of moistens pads. These are
currently not a "prescription item, maybe purchased from many
pharmacies, chiropractors, even on the internet.
Typical Electrode Pads are sold foruse with TENS, FENS, NEMS
etc.type devices. The type here havethe standard pintype
connectionwhich we will use withoutmodification.
While I have been quoted $32 for apack of 4 direct from
thepharmaceutical supply, prices halfthat or less are more
realistic and tobe expected.
For this Project I started with a stereoheadphone extension
cable andadapters readily available (app. $10WalMart)
The color coded probes arereplacement probes for simple
metertest sets. the short pin is the only partthat is important.
The short pins areslightly tapered and readily fit insidethe
electrode pad connectors.(app. $1015 Radio Shack)
Cut "female" end of stereo cableapproximately 68" from end.
Cut off and Discard all 4 of the long testprobes.
Trim back, separate, sort, and preparecables exposing app. 3/8"
to 1/2" of barewire
Note: both BLACK probe leads areGROUND /COMMON / NEGATIVE
andshould be twisted together as one.
Connect the (double) BLACK probe wires towhich ever of the
stereo cable wires goes tothe base of the stereo plug
(probablyblack).
-
Connect each of the other RED probe leadsto each of the other
remaining stereo cablewires.. In this case RED and WHITE
Wires hopefully should be soldered but can just as easily be
twisted andtaped. Make sure these wires cannot short against each
other and aresecurely bound up or taped. An clean assembly can be
made with theuse of heat shrinkable tubing. This is but one
recommended method ofmaking a very durable and useful cable
assembly
Shown below are equally usable and durable cable assemblies
madefrom the same probe lead sets and a single stereo jack to be
used withan existing (unmodified) stereo extenuation cable. Both 2
and 4 leadversions are shown below
For those persons who areNOT able to construct theabove, we will
be makingavailable THIS experimenter kitwhich will be replacing
theprevious versions. (SelectHERE or the photo for
moreinformation.)
Shown here is an alternative setusing only the test leads and
astereo phono jack (shown in both 2& 4 lead configurations) but
relies ona user supplied stereo extensioncable similar to that show
in the rightside of photo.
NEXT .... lets connect this to something !

Construction of a Rife TubeDriver is pretty straight
forward.
The components are relativelysimple but you MUST useexcellent
construction practicesand quality materials as you aredealing with
exceptionally highvoltages.
Ventilation, cooling fan, heat sinkare also needed.
The diagram here shouldbe all that you need toprovide the
necessaryelectronics to "drive" theplasma tube.
You must of courseprovide the appropriatesquare wave signal at
app.5 volts which triggers thetransistor which in turn isstepped up
with theignition coil.

SEE NOTE ON DIAGRAM PAGE
Shown here with a typical bench typeregulated power supply
although youmay be able to use an existing autobattery charger or
even a gel cell typebattery if it can provide sufficientcurrent. (4
amps or so)
This is another desktoptype unit whichincorporates the
powersupply into the samecase.
Both the HV "Brick" and the Desktop Unit are available for Sale.
Bothunits allow different types of bulbs to be quickly and easily
changed outfor the ultimate ease in Rife experimentation.

Dick Loyd has mentioned that the "newer NAPA IC12SB coils are
not working aswell as before and we have changed to the IC 12. Much
better coil"
I AGREE. I began with the IC 12 (I believe was made in USA) but
recently haveonly been able to get the "SB" units (manufactured in
Mexico). So ... based on this... if you possibly can, go with the
straight IC 12. (The NAPA stores here also neverseem to get more
than one per store at a time ... regardless of how many they
sell)

Sometimes there is an elegance insimplicity. In a sincire effort
to get thisinformation into the hands of as manypeople as possible
we have devisedthis VERY simple cable set.
We realize that not everyone has thetools, equipment, resources
orinclination t to construct the simpledevice. This however can be
usedwith almost any locally purchasedstereo extension cable (i.e.
WalMart,Radio Shack, Target) to provide acable of sufficient length
for yourpersonal experimentation andconfigurations.
Note: THIS cable will also be used forplanned upcoming projects,
. . . thusits new more modular design.
