VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL REPORT

“Praise the Lord!” Did you hear me? I said “PRAISE THE LORD!!!” What a fantastic week of

Vacation Bible School we just had! If you were unable to be part of it, you truly missed a blessing!

Let me share some numbers with you: Total enrollment: 238 High Attendance Day: Tuesday with 216 present Workers: 80 - Senior adults, adults and youth!!! Total offering: $1,025.00 which will be used to buy toys for GAP for Christmas *Best of all: Salvation decisions and MANY children to follow-up with!!! Now, can YOU say Praise the Lord?!?! We were blessed with so many things last week it would be impossible to list them all so I‘ll just list a few: God’s presence filling this building, great attendance, fantastic workers, very well behaved kids, awesome workers, beautiful weather, fun and fellowship at the Family Night on Thursday, high energy music with a great message that will be in my brain FOREVER, and the list goes on. Whatever part you played in making this week so wonderful, from your monetary donations, food donations, coming out to help decorate, to your prayers, your assistance each day, being a runner, to being whatever you were needed to be and serving wherever you were needed, I appreciate you and thank you from the bottom of my heart! Many, many seeds were planted last week and I firmly believe lives, both young and old, were changed for eternity! Blessings, Miss Pat CENTRI-KID 2014 “RESET: God Redeems!” That was the theme for Centri-Kid 2014. We were blessed with a great Centri-Kid staff as well as a pastor that clearly laid Biblical messages before us, clear for the young and older. Each night of worship was a wonderful experience. Our kids were literally on the edge of their seats, waiting to see what Dr. Shane would be teaching them that night. While our time was short, we certainly felt the Spirit of the Lord and were blessed by going. The Centri-Kid staff was made up of a great group of college kids who love the Lord and taught our kids about doing the same. Praise the Lord! That made all the heat, humidity, and sweating worth it! A BIG thank you to Lori Stephenson, Steve Main and Jeremy Wilson for giving of their time to help chaperone the kids and go to camp with us! We shared lots of laughs, many tears, and made lots of memories we’ll hold close forever! So… until next year!

PAGE 2 THE TRIUMPH A PLACE OF HOPE!

Dear Friends, As June comes to a close (one of our busiest months of the year), and we press forward into July, I can’t put into words how blessed I feel to be a part of such an awesome team here at UBC! Stop and think for a moment about how many people, with a heart for Christ, it takes to pull off the many activities that we schedule during the summer. I am feeling especially blessed to have just witnessed so many serving the Lord as they served our children at VBS this past week. From the smiles, laughter and energy I’ve seen from our children, I’m confident that they’ll never forget their VBS experience. God has truly blessed our church with so many gifted and talented individuals. It brings me so much joy to watch others generously offer the gifts God’s

given them so that our youth, children, and even complete strangers can come to know the love and hope that is found in Christ. From time to time, I think I have a tendency to take the things / people in my life for granted. My guess is that we could all admit to guilt in this regard at times. When I

reflect upon God’s blessings in my life, this church fam-ily comes to mind. UBC, please know that your love and generosity is being used by God to change and inspire lives. I’m just so thankful to be a member of this team and to witness the love that is spread abroad through your service to our Savior.

See You Sunday,

Pastor Kevin

PAGE 3 THE TRIUMPH A PLACE OF HOPE!

It’s officially SUMMER! As you can see we are not taking a break… check out what is happening this month in the Student Ministry. Upcoming events: July 6-11 -- Middle School Camp

July 15 -- Fellowship Night at the Soucys’ July 17 -- Middle School Mayhem! 9 am - Noon at UBC July 21-24 -- “Fun in the Son” at Southside BC July 28 -- Middle School Mayhem! 9 am - Noon at UBC July 28 -- Fellowship Night at the Smiths’ July 31 -- Kings Island

Middle School Mayhem is a gathering of all Middle School Students. It is for all upcoming 6th graders (completed 5th grade) and all existing middle school students (completed 6th-8th grades). This is a great time for Middle School

students to meet and get to know other students in the youth group; and those that are joining the youth group in August. Mid-dle School Mayhem will include games, snacks, and Bible Study. Be sure to invite your friends!

Fellowship Nights Fellowship Nights will take place throughout the summer. See the full summer calendar to see when they are and don’t miss them! They are going to be a great time of fellowship and a great time to bring friends that may not know Jesus.

We will follow the three “P”s. At every Fellowship Night we will Play, Partake, and Proclaim. It’s going to be fun (play), there will be food (partake), and we will hear a message from God’s Word (proclaim). We hope to see you there!

Fun in the Son Once again we will head to Southside BC for “Fun in the Son.” We will lead children through different crafts, games, and Bible Stories. This is an awesome week for us to minister to people in our Northern Kentucky community. We will leave each evening from UBC at 5:30 pm and return each night around 8:45 pm.

UBC Rescue Facebook Page Please like our Facebook page, “UBC Rescue,” to receive updates and reminders on your news feed!

Please keep our Middle School students in your prayers as we head to Jonathan Creek Camp and Conference Center in Western KY for Crossings. It will be a great part of our summer, but we will love knowing that our students and chaperones are being lifted up in prayer each day. Please also be in prayer for our Fellowship nights, Middle School Madness days, and the week of Fun in the Son at Southside. It has been a crazy summer thus far and I am certainly excited for what God has planned for July!

In Christ, Allen
